My best friends at home are Natalie, Ellen, and Adriana.  I like them a lot.

Last year, Nat and I watched "Ally McBeal" together every Monday night, while drinking Vanilla Frappuccinos and eating Cherry Twizzlers.  (I've since replaced her with Jennifer, but shhhh... don't tell her.)  Nat is my favorite shopping buddy, and I love her sooooooo much.  Collectively, we have seen every movie at Hollywood Video.

Ellen and I used to ride the bus together with a bunch of dirty kids, and man, did we enjoy it.  Then my parents decided to buy a new house, so I had to move away from Ellen.  That was sad, except that it meant no longer getting in trouble for using the wrong shortcut from my house to hers.  El's faucets have World-Famous Water, and her cat's name, contrary to popular belief, is Fluffy, not Hobbes.

Adriana and I are friends primarily because we understand the profound meaning of, "Aunt Kathy, who's that?"  In sixth grade, we spent hours bonding over her Playmobile dollhouse.  Like me, she finds joy in mundane activities such as playing Spit for hours (literally).  A has a crazy Springer Spaniel named Remy.

The best part of my senior year of high school was racing to Wendy's for lunch via Interstate 81.  This would not have been possible were it not for Nick Durland and his Ford Probe and Justin "A.C." Slater and his Chevy Cavalier.  Of course, my Ghetto Cruiser ('88 Buick Electra, a.k.a. sweetest car ever) pretty much kicked their asses, although they'll tell you otherwise.  Other participants in lunch races were Ellen, Bill, Noli, and Matt Noble.

Here at ND, most of my friends live in my hall.  We do weird things like setting up soccer fields in the hallway and having Kris Kross dance parties.  (I've just received word that Kris Kross are now known as Young Rich and Dangerous... fascinating.)  Leanne and I really like old school Whitney Houston, and we often leave our friends karaoke voice mails.

Our guy friends live mostly in Stanford Hall.  We especially like Casey, Dave, Eric, Bruce Dave, and Aldo.  Aldo is in the Mafia, and Shan is his trophy wife.  She will probably kill me for saying that, but we have the pictures to prove it.  Casey bears a remarkable similarity to Papa Smurf, and Dave likes to hook up with high school sophomores who look like '80s biker chicks.  What crazy kids...

Steve and Brian live very far away, but I still like them.  This is not only because they take me exciting places like Meijer and Steak n Shake, although that does help.  I like Steve because he jumped in the dirty lake with me one time (although it's a little weird that he feeds girls testicle-flavored breadsticks), and I like Bri because he bought me alcohol and also because he is nice to me.

I also have two best friends from Rockville Centre.  Their names are Alyson and Aliza.  I've known Alyson since before I was two and Aliza since our days at Jack and Jill Montessori School.  I basically lived at Alyson's house until I moved upstate, and her nana always made us lots of food and the best iced tea in the world.  Aliza and I used to eat snack together every day.  She always cheers me up when I'm sad, and she is totally, well, eggs.
