An unabashed celebration of myself...

Hey there, you fortunate creature, you.  I say this because you've just landed on the homepage of the fabulous Kathleen O'Leary.  I usually have a staunch moral opposition to homepages, but I'm going to make an exception just this once.  I'm a junior at the University of Notre Dame, where I live in the fun room with my roommate Leanne. Some fun things that Leanne and I have done this year include putting on crazy hats and matching dresses and dancing with our strobe light on, dancing along with the movie Footloose, eating Pizza Rolls, and watching Must-See TV with Jim! One time, we almost wore side ponytails to the dining hall, but then my parents thought I was an alcoholic, so we didn't end up doing that. In the past, we've participated in the Kris Kross Dance Party (along with our friends Kristen, Shannon, Laura, and Suzanne), left karaoke voice mails for our friends and enemies (performing such songs as Whitney Houston's "How Will I Know" and the Gwyneth Paltrow/ Huey Lewis rendition of the Smokey Robinson classic "Cruisin'"), and gone on a schwacktastic spring break with Lori and Jamie.

On Saturday, November 9, 2002, Libby "Urda Inc." Urda and I arrived at Brian Bircher's 21st birthday party drinking Boone's Farm out of paper bags! Anyway, I am an English major here at ND, and if I get my act together before my DART time next Tuesday, I will soon be a Poli Sci major as well. I have two goals in life, but if I manage to accomplish just one of them, I will be happy. My goal is either to be on the cover of Rolling Stone or have a book on the NY Times Bestseller List by the time I'm 30. If you want to join my imaginary band or give me a job at a magazine, please call.
