Mission accomplished
Well, what started on June 22 is now over. I have read (and in some cases, re-read) all of Jane Austen's novels. I have to say, looking over the timeline of my reading and my feelings, Mansfield Park is the major dog in the bunch. It took me the longest to read, and I enjoyed it the least. Emma was better, but I'd place it just above Mansfield Park. Then Sense & Sensibility, Northanger Abbey, Persuasion, and Pride & Prejudice. I'm somewhat surprised at my own ranking, but it's pretty accurate as to how the books made me feel and how much I enjoyed the actual reading of them. I just finished Northanger Abbey last night, and it was a cute, occasionally funny, sweet read. Pretty slight, but good nonetheless.

If I were ranking the movie adaptations, things would change, people. But that's another quest for another blog post, and I have to go read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies now.
