A date with myself
Last night, I took myself to the movies, and the great thing was: I got to pick the movie. Being a girl and being in the mood to be a girl, I chose Pride and Prejudice. Matthew MacFadyen is so fine. Oh, so fine. Dare I say, dreamy even. Oh, sigh. Oh, big sigh. I didn't care much about the movie, really, I just wanted a happy ending. The BBC version with Colin Firth was more faithful and objectively better, but this one has its place, too. Did I mention Matthew MacFadyen? Also, I thought the actress who played Jane was better in this incarnation, though Keira Knightley took the giggling a little too far as Lizzie.
