BIOGRAPHY

Talena A.L. Atfield was born January 14th 1983 in London, Ontario, Canada. She was named after the princess of Gor in the Gor book series by John Norman.

Talena has always been into the music scene. At age 14 she received a cheap red guitar for Christmas and wasted no time on getting started. She joined a band with a few of her friends but later decided that they weren't as dedicated as she was.

Two years later, Talena got a drum set. Determined to play, she joined another band. This time she actually got to play at one show, but was kicked out of the band later. She still does not know why she was kicked out. After many attempts to be in a band she gave up.

Then in October of 1999 Talena received a phone call from a friend (Mercedes Lander) who was the drummer for a local band called Kittie. She asked Talena if she would be interested in playing bass for them since their bassist (Tanya Candler) had left the band. Talena was always a good friend and supporter of Kittie so she accepted the offer even though she had no expierance in playing bass. In a very short period of time Talena did learn to play bass and was the new member of Kittie.

Now we come to March 2002. Talena decides to leave Kittie due to arguements over a unfair contract. I'm not sure what Talena is up to now in days but hopefully we will see her in the music buisness again.
