GM 3.8L engine we are modifying for use in
the aircraft. After modification we will test it, then completely overhaul and install it in the DVII.
Engine with power steering pump and air conditioning compressor already removed. Note the change of belt routing and the tensioner pulley changed from smooth to ribbed. This did reverse the rotation of the tensioner pulley, so we are considering a safety nut on the back of a longer tensioner pulley mounting bolt.
Removal of EGR valve and installation of new block off plate.
Removal of plastic intake vacuum manifold and installation of new block off plate.
