For some odd reason a lot of people seem to wonder about the actual name of the beast. Well here is a chart example that I ran across a while back. It uses simple numerology and the alphabet. I thought it was pretty interesting. It is my understanding that a very young child figured this out. Just follow the numbers to 6, then go down 3. This in theory, gives you three 6's and the alphabetical value of each in that column, which is supposedly the name of the beast.

Yeah...I know what your thinking. It just seems way to simple to be true. You have to admit though...it does make you think twice about the Fox network and the programs they choose to show doesn't it? he hE HEH!

Another thing that I think about a lot is Adam & Eve. Apparrently they started out as the only 2 people on the entire planet according to the bible. Well they had 2 sons named Cain and Abel. After a while the 2 sons argued and Cain kills Abel, then God punishes Cain and banishes him. So now we have 2 males and 1 female on the entire planet. Cain leaves Eden and goes to dwell in the land of Nod, then gets married to some chic and has a child named Enoch. Now what I want to know is...where the hell did his wife come from? I thought that Eve was the only female on earth up to this point. I don't see anywhere else in the beginning of creation where God mentions making any other people.

It would seem that there are either topics which were deliberately left out of the Bible (which would mean that you couldn't trust the Bible because it would be incomplete,) or that the Bible is wrong!

Now...it's commonly known by religious scholars, and scientists that a good percentage of the Bible has been either changed or misinterpereted over the centuries for various reasons including political, sexist, mistranslated, miscopied etc..etc.. but I think they made this mistake just a little to obvious. (Remember...I'm open to input!)


Here's another Bible one. If God is perfect, then why did he have to make a new testament? It seems pretty obvious to me that the old one wasn't working out. However if God truly was perfect then he would have gotten it right the first time. Personally I think that the original version was perfect. I believe it was humans who changed the bible to suit their own wants. Ya know...change a lil'bit here, a tad there and no one will notice! Amazing how much something can change in a couple thousand years huh?
I don't think God ever doled out any major punishements on anyone for committing sins. I think men took advantage of natural diasters and other natural phenomenon, like locust plagues, then simply wrote them into the Bible as punishment from God to make the general masses of people more fearful of an otherwise totally loving God, so that the current political structure, or ruling body of that time could gain better control by using threats of retribution from God.
If God says that he will forgive any sin, then why are we told that we should fear him?
Why are we told that we are going to hell for committing certain sins? Again I have to ask...Why would we even be worried about going to Hell, Purgatory, or anything else for that matter if God or Jesus, however you want to look at it, says that He'll forgive any sin. All we have to do is just ask? Yet there are numerous other passeges that describe how we'll be punished for our sins or have been already. I don't know about you, but it sure doesn't make any sense to me. There are just to many blatantly ignorant contradictions throughout the Bible for me to believe that our ancestors didn't do a royal fleece pulling over the eyes job on us.
I also don't uderstand why people argue over what the true name of God is. God whom I'll also refer to as simply the highest power or the All or the Great One, or my personal favorite...The Creator, probably doesn't even have a preference in the matter. Think about it...A being that is ALL POWERFUL actually needing a name!!!! That's totally absurd! Just because we need names to live by doesn't mean that the Creator of the entire universe requires one. Keep in mind that when God created all the animals, God didn't give them their names Adam did! Names are strictly a human necessity, not something that God needs. Anyway, if you think about it in a more technical manner and consider that the Creator did make everything and is ALL POWERFUL, then any name we chose to call the Creator would be absolutely correct since the Creator created it anyway right? We could choose to call him #3 and technically it would be just as correct as any of the various other names people argue about.
Why do we keep fighting over what race and sex God is? If God is all powerful, then he is neither male nor female or of any particular race, yet she is of them all. Humans simply try to put labels on what the Creator is so that they can either make themselves and their race feel the most important or so they can relate better to the God they worship. It also gives humans the perfect excuse to cause war and predjudice amongst themselves. It lets us say that our God looks like our race, so if you say that your god looks like you and your not of our race then we think your worshiping a false God and we consider that Blasphemy. "Well...THEMS FIGHTIN WORDS mister!" "We've been wantin yer land enywayz!" Why is it so hard for us to realize that we are all simply different shades of the same exact color? We are all created under God right! Do you really think that she sits up there making some people that he likes and some that she doesn't? (Pleeeeease!!!)
Well...if all humans agreed on truths which some people think are totally obvious then we'd all be getting along. GETTING ALONG!!! Oh Hell...we can't have that, there's no big money in that! War has been the easiest way to make big bucks since we new how to declare war! We're not about to stop now just because we know we should! Personally I think that the Great One probably did tell us some truths to live by that were suppossed to be contained in a holy manuscript, or perhaps burned into some stone tablets by celestial fire. Then we humans decided that we liked being greedy better and constantly kept changing the words to suit our own wants, therefore rendering the original words and purpose of the Bible to something that is long gone and apparently forgotten. To me, it's pretty obvious that the Bible has been severely tampered with. Just look at all of the hypocrisy and obvious contradictions that the Bible is absolutely riddled with. Do they sound like mistakes that a God whom is ALL POWERFUL would make? Hell no! I believe that they are human mistakes written by human hands, to suit our greedy human wants. I also think that only religious fanatics would believe otherwise, and trust me...there's plenty of'em around. You can tell'em 2+2=4, but if they thought it didn't coincide with the Bible they'd flat out deny it. It's absurd!!!
Here's a good question. How are humans supposed to have FREE WILL, if we keep getting conditions set on it? That's such an obvious contradiction in terms that anyone who doesn't get it needs to be smacked. You can't even come close to having free will if there are conditions that say, "You can do what you want until you do something I don't like." Then I just gotta send ya to hell. I personally believe that the Creator gave us all free will. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to hell for making mistakes that humans are going to make since we don't have the benefit of infinate knowledge at our direct disposal. You can't truly know whether or not fire is hot, until you actually feel the heat for the 1st time.
I think we should make the Vatican give us the other pieces of the Bible that they openly admitted to having in their possession. They won't let anyone see it, and won't let it be printed because, they assure us that it's false, and therefore refuse to officially recognze it. Well...if it's false then what's the damn problem? What's the matter? You wanna make sure that you've sufficiently tampered with it 1st, then maybe someday suddenly declare that it isn't false? Gee...I know I could sure use some more good'ol brainwashing! People should be allowed to make the decision to accept it or not by their own choice. Instead though we just have to accept that the Vatican knows what's best for us.
Why do people insist on believing that the Bilical version of God requires us to act or be a certain way? Do you see the contradiction here? You can't be ALL POWERFUL and still require stuff. If you require something, it means you need something, if God needs something then he obviously can't be ALL POWERFUL! Of course, this doesn't just apply to Christianity. It would obviously apply to any belief system that claims the Creator they worship is ALL POWERFUL. I believe that the Creator is ALL POWERFULL, and requires nothing. That's why we have FREE WILL.
The Bible does still have quite a few good points, but I think we've made a very big mistake at basing the entire Christian culture off a book that has been severely tampered with. BUT HEY!!! We all know that the majority of people who realize this are never going to say anything because they'll be to scared to speak their mind out of fear. Fear of ridicule, blemishing their rep, of having to revise all their beliefs, and all the other petty reasons. So the problem will more than likely never go away. To many people find it easier to be told what they should believe. Some would even kill for it. They don't want to do the work of deciding what their own truths are. That's just simply my humble opinion, but until I'm either proved wrong or covinced otherwise, I'm pretty sure I'll be stickin to it! Remember, I'd be very interested to hear your opinion on these topics via e-mail but if you plan on preaching to me...DON'T!
