Klarnan
Mood:  irritated
Now Playing: In Here!
What can I say about her? Oh yes. Klarnan was not popular as other goddesses. You know Salmaone, well no maybe because she's not even popular. She was worshipped waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay in the south, until her sister became Nephtys, an Egyptian goddess. Well, she was the goddess of time, rage and voodoo magic. There really is nothing much to say about her, except that she lost her mother when her evil sister killed her. Some myths say she is one of the daughters of Apollo, and that her best friend was Eros, who she loved. She was extremely strong, strongest of all, but her worship ended like in the sixth or fifth century. I'm not sure. Her love for Aphrodite's son always caused her rage, even though they both hid their love for each other. Eventually, her evil sister made her drink a liquid to make her mortal, as a Greek writer once wrote. She was later killed by Aphrodite, because of some reason. When the myth expanded, Klarnan became a "never heard of" goddess and was truly forgotten. The Romans never worshipped her.

Aphrodite
Mood:  crushed out

Topic: Goddess of Love an Beauty
Aphrodite was the goddess of love and beauty. She appears in MANY myths, like the one of how the Trojan War got started and the story of Eros and Psyche. She's evil on that one...Ha ha! Aphrodite...well I do not think she had any parents, but she was basically born from the sea, out of Kronos' blood, when he was killed...On arts, Aphrodite usually appears without a top...all the time. Hera made Aphrodite marry Hephaestus, since Hera made a promise to her son earlier that day, but Aphrodite was in love with Ares, god of war. She had I dunno how many kids, but I know one is Eros, or in Roman, Cupid. Yeah, he did all those things Cupid is supposed to do. In other words, Aphrodite was never ashamed, and like how many people did she help? Wait, let me count...

Aegle

Topic: Goddess of Healing
Aegle was a wonderful goddess of healing, in my opinion. She was one of the many daughters of Aesclepius and Epione. There is a goddess Aegle and a nymph/human Aegle, but I'm talking about the goddess. Aegle was one of the 3 Graces, or Charites. In other Greek myths, Aegle was also known as Aglaia and she was the daughter of Zeus. In the Charites, her name meant Splendor. Aegle's happy sisters were also the Charites and were Thaia and Euphrosyne. You know when you're skin is glowing because it's so healthy? Hmmm...I think it has something to do with Aegle.

Hekate/Hecate
Mood:  cool

Topic: Goddess of Witchcraft
Basically, Hekate was the goddess of witchcraft and by some people(today)she was considered mean, ugly,
and eerie. Long ago though, Hekate was considered kind, and helped of those who believed in her. Every eclipse, she would walk with her torches or the crossroads in Greece. Worshippers would leave her food, but it get eaten by the poor. Hekate was the daughter of Titans Perses and Asteria, and Hekate was a Titaness herself. In Olympus, she was respected, in a lot of power, and statues were kept in homes...of Hekate...to keep away thieves. Hekate was so cool, huh?

Artemis
Mood:  special

Topic: Goddess of the Hunt
Basically, this chica was considered very cold. She had many worshippers and was considered very beautiful. In one tale, she kills this family along with her brother, just because a mother bragged about her children, and something to do with Leto...huh? Well, this angered the twins, since they love their mother more than anything in the world which caused her children's murder, except for Chloris, youngest daughter, who's the Goddess of Flowers. Back in the mythical myths, nobody messed with her, or you'd be...murdered! Ha...well, she is basically the goddess of the hunt, and the daughter of Titaness Leto and Zeus. She was also associated with the Roman goddess Diana. Artemis was also the protector of children, and some people thought it was Artemis' fault when a mother died giving birth. I of course...do not know what to believe...
