As you have certainly noticed, the costs of fuel have increased dramatically over the last few years. The Department of Energy documents the price of on road diesel fuel as $1.07 in
April 1999 compared to $1.42 on April 24, 2000.
This was a 33% increase in fuel prices!

The fuel surcharge will be adjusted every Monday to reflect the change in “EIA Retail On-Highway Diesel Prices” for the Lower Atlantic PADD 1C. You can access these prices by visiting the Department of Energy‘s website http://www.eia.doe.gov. You may also call EIA Diesel Fuel Price Hotline at (202) 586-6966.

The fuel surcharge will apply to all deliveries when the reported “EIA Retail On-Highway Diesel Prices” rise above $1.20 per gallon. Please refer to the fuel surcharge table below.

EXAMPLE:
The Diesel fuel price on 4/24/2000 was $1.38.
The fuel surcharge would be $1.75 per load.

This schedule will give you the benefit of any declines in the prices of fuel while still providing the high quality of service that you have come to expect from Treasure Coast Concrete. We thank you for understanding and look forward to fuel prices declining to a more reasonable level.
