Aliens in love
I've read a few other Roswell stories that I liked but it's a minor fandom for me so of course I can't remember what they were called. Until I find them, here are the ones that first got me into reading Roswell fan fiction.
Behind the Sun by Elizabeth -- Isabel and Michael, post-"Destiny".
Once by Elizabeth -- Tess and Isabel.
Nothing by Elizabeth -- Isabel and Kyle.
The Gutter and the Stars by S.T. Shimi -- [add rec]
And then there are the threesomes...
Triad by Gale Dumont, which has a Liz I can actually see Max's attraction to, is solid, enjoyable M/M/L smut.
Extasis by Scynneh stars space pirates Rath and Tess and virginal slave girl Maria, and--I don't even know what to add to that description, just that it's as fun as it sounds.
Also, don't miss Kate's Vilandra story by twilight--the language evokes a lovely, alien world suited to the doomed princess whose tale it relates--or Stronger, Livia's Max and Michael one, a dead-on look at both character's strengths and a highly believable late night encounter (I should probably mention that I can see the slash with Max and Michael, but I don't automatically go there the way I would with say, Kyle and anyone--but this story is as much about pain as sex (another reason I liked it, probably) and without being overdone and it just works, trust me).
