BLAKE'S 7
Rebels in love
I think everyone is probably aware at this point that there is comparatively little Blake's Seven fan fiction to be found on the web (or you are if you've looked, anyway) and that the vast majority of it can only be found in print fanzines, so in addition to online stuff I'm going to talk about zines, and the story that sold me on the concept of slash.
That story was "Chimera" by Thomas, and it was published in Southern Lights Special 4.5 in 1988 (available from Ashton Press, although it's probably not worth buying for just the one story (but I recently picked up a used second copy at Eclecticon for $5, so you might want to keep your eyes open). [email for story and archive!]
The other zine story that I couldn't live without is "Kunoichi" by Nikki White in Multiverse #17, because it has what is probably the closest match to my view of what the canonical Anna Grant would have been like. In fact, my own Anna Grant story--'cause almost everyone has to have one, but which was fortunately never finished or published anywhere, was an homage to "Kuniochi" to the point of lifting a line or two from it. I didn't even notice I'd done it at the time but as I've said before, I'm really glad I didn't have fanfiction.net back in the day.
I also mention this because strangely enough, the working title for that story was "Endgame", and I recently found a section by that name from the most original and logical Anna story I've ever seen, by AnnaS (no, not that Anna S.) on... fanfiction.net. The author describes Memories (made up of two stories, Endgame and The Things We Remember) as an AU, but I don't think there's anything in canon that would actually contradict this interpretation--which I found to be very, very clever and psychologically consistent, given what we got to see of the personalities involved.
Also, "Hearts of Glass" by Rhapsodie, which appeared in Straight Blake's #2, is a beautifully written story of Dayna and Vila struggling to connect one last time amidst the wreckage before leaving Xenon base for Gauda Prime, and one of my all-time favorite pieces of Blake's 7 fan fiction.
