Fail

The shimmer of justice full in the face
the golden light of truth will set me apace
I may lose but I have found
I am here and I am bound
I cannot die for I am life
to fall now is to end in strife
I must rise above the light
control the tears, I always fight
I fall down upon my knees
begging for someone to ease
the darkness that surrounded me
the anger that was aimed at me
she hates me, she loves him
the world is never fair
I love her, but there is no chance
what to do, I'm in a trance
I hang upon possibility
the single star within my sea
shall I go and seek anew
or focus on what I want to be true
She was the one that I loved most
but no one gets perfection
why must I, upon my knees
always fail to win
