If you already know what The Book of Revelation in the Christian Bible means, and are absolutely certain of it, you won't be happy here.
But if you are open-minded about what The Revelation means, no matter how long you may or may not have studied it, you may want to browse through the following.
WHAT THIS STUDY IS NOT
You'll not find here my idea of when Revelation foretells the end of the world. Neither will there be an attempt to convert you to a cause or convince you that mine is the only proper way to understand the book of Revelation.
WHAT THIS STUDY IS
I have attempted to let Revelation define and explain itself. I throw out (as much as possible) all preconceived definitions and look for clues and definitions in Revelation. You will be surprised how much Revelation is self- defining, if we but look for such definitions and explanations elsewhere in the book.
To quickly determine if this study will be of use to you, skim the foreword and the introduction. Read CHAPTER SIX carefully to get the core of how Revelation redefines itself in this study. This may or may not be something you wish to spend time on.
ALSO, you may want to click here to see a study chart of the three series of seven events in Revelation. Comparing the seven seals, the seven trumpets and the seven bowls of wrath led directly to the understandings in chapter 6.
I can promise you this, Regardless of whether or not you agree with my work, the approach I take is new and unique. And it is functional - meaning, it helps us to understand the life we are living and helps us live it better.
