News:Something Is Wrong Here, Very Wrong -- Chris @ 8:16pm || Post in the forum
I know we remember that slight problem back in early June when that nutso lady from Texas killed her 5 children by drowning them, and then saying that she did it.
Here is where I get a little... what would you call it? "confused"?
The Houston-area NOW chapter's actions in support of Yates – from fundraising for her legal defense to planning a candlelight vigil for next week outside the Texas jail where Yates is incarcerated in the psychiatric ward – have been controversial and drawn some harsh criticism to the national organization. What the hell? I mean, why would they support someone that had just killed someone else? Not just one, two, three, four, but FIVE living humans. Five children that could have had a bright future before them. Now no more. All five are dead since the lady, Andria Yates, decided that they had to die.
So why do they think that what she did will stand a chance before a jury? Do they think that they will show any support for someone that did something like she did? I don't think so. I know that I wouldn't.
She meant to kill them, all of them. She took good time to do it, each slowly. A slow death for all 5 of her children. She did not do it by acciedent. She meant for it to happen. No matter what she was under, something is not right when you kill 5 people. Even when you kill one person, it is just as bad.
I don't think that she is going to get off of the hook on this one, I think it's time to follow Gary Condit and give up, face it - you will not win.

I KNEW that Condit was either not going to run, or he would have gotten spanked in the election.
No need to think about that anymore, here is what was pulled off of MSNBC:
Rep. Gary Condit, battered by scandal following the disappearance of Chandra Levy, has decided not to seek re-election to his seat in Congress next year, sources close to the Democratic lawmaker told NBC News on Friday.
I don't think half of us needed that. We all knew that he was either going to run, and make a fool out of himself, or not run at all - not making a fool out of himself.
No need to worry, there will be no more talks on the news about whether or not they think that he should or should not run.
About another year of him around, and then people will never hear about him again on the news. Just like what happened to Ewing when he left the Knicks, when was the last time that we heard about him around here?
