On this day one year ago, all 118 sailers on the Kursk, a Russian submarine died from an explosion.
The families who lost loved ones in the crash of the doomed sub attended a group or ceremonies honoring them, and all other Russian crew killed while on duty.
Officials say the explosions that tore apart the Kursk, one of Russia's most advanced vessels, were apparently caused by a torpedo.
But what prompted the torpedo blast remains unclear. Many Russians have said it was likely to have been a collision with a foreign vessel, but other observers say an internal malfunction was the most likely explanation.

I think I myself am going to put together a study about AIM, does it really help me, or is it more of a distraction and annoyance?
I am going to see how many times when I am IMed by someone do I go "not again, NOO!". I know when I IM someone, it is because I have nothing else better to do, or I am in some cases going to talk to another Intelligent life form that can say more than a few words.
According to my theory, I am assuming that I have at least one perv on my buddy list. I mean come on, out of 144 people, 60 of them I don't know; one of them has got to be a perv. I think the fact of me being online for hours at a time makes people want to talk to me more. Most people that I talk to say that their record being online is like 3 hours, what the heck is that? That's it? Sheesh, get a real modem and don't use the "I don't want to be hacked so I will press this button to make me feel better" button on the cable modem.
Yes, there is a "Stand By" button on most cable modems, that turns it off, that way making the people that think they are going to get hacked feel a lot better.

As we all know, Ben Affleck recently went into rehab for drinking problems.
First that, and now I find this on ABC news?
The Pearl Harbor star, who has checked into rehab for alcohol addiction, was to appear in a radio ad with pal and fellow Oscar winner Matt Damon for Sam Adams Beer. The campaign has been dropped.
It's too ironic, think he was a traider and went for Budwiser? Or think he was good and went with Sam Adams?
