Banner Farm Board -- Chris @ 10:55pm
Well, I decided to bring back the good 'ol banner farm board. In other words... the ezboard that I had for less than a week is back.
The community is still here as well. Just that the community has a lot more features. Just yet another thing for you people to join at your own desire. And heck, you don't have to be a member to post a message or reply at the forum
I just find the community to have a lot more features. Which includes your own account with 30megs of space for posting pictures. Live chat, forums, and more. But the forum maybe better for all of you people that are going "huh?" and don't know what I am talking about... the forum is pretty much straight foward.
Ugh... You People -- Chris @ 3:34pm
So I am sitting there watching that Nathaniel Brazill kid being sentenced. They bring up a child psychologist to talk about the matter.
What he said was a bunch of crap. He was saying that the culture that we live in has video games, movies, guns, the whole nine yards that provoke children (14-year-old children mind you) into shooting others and thinking that nothing is going to happen. Yea... okay. I don't buy that for one darn good second. First of all, someone that age must know the difference between right and wrong. Second, his grandfather is at fault for not taking care of something with such destructive power. Third, his mom (his father is gone) should have taught him that guns are not something that you go around playing with.
Blame it all on the video game companies and not the people that should really be the ones to blame. Who bought the kid these luxuries? If he did not have them, something like this could have been avoided. If his mom kept him to Pokemon games instead of Doom, things would have been good.
No, of course not. Soon, at the rate that we are going now, children are going to need an ID to by a game that is rated "M" since most can no longer determine what is real, and what is not. What is right to do, what is not right to do?
Mercy? What? -- Chris @ 11:01am
Remember that kid that shot his English teacher a year ago? He is going to be sentenced today.
People are starting to say that a life in prison sentence would be too much for the boy.
Heh. What? What's that they say? Are they stupid or something? C'mon, the kid knew what he was doing you know. The minute he walked into that school with that gun, he had to know what the purpose of the gun was for.
He should have given that some thought before he picked up that fire arm and brought it to school.
Was that even his favorite teacher? What made him shoot this guy?
These past years have been few and far between with school violence, and I sure as hell don't condone it. I will not say, "Aww look, he was so scared when he did that, he was confused, let's give him a break" Anyone who does what these kids did to fellow teachers, and students should not get let off easily. Anyone who walks right up to someone with a gun in their hands, points it at another, and precedes to fire the weapon gets no mercy in my book.
Maybe not the death penalty for these kiddies, but they should be kept behind bars for a while.
It will server as a warning to all of the other kids who think they will do that instead of handling their stress. They shoot up their school, there will be a price to pay, and most likely, it is not worth it. So you don't want to do it.
Honey? Where Are You? -- Chris @ 12:36am
Heh. People these days, you gotta love some of them. Their lack of common sense brings a smirk to my face.
"He just drove away," Gordon said Monday. "I ran down the road after him waving my arms."
So this guy's girlfriend was running after her boyfriend to get him to turn around for her? What? For five hours the guy was chugging along without knowing that he left he behind. ( Read more )
Yeah, she was sleeping in the back of the RV, but 5 hours? Wow, she was offly quiet and slept that long (Plus whatever she slept before the stop)
Now... *ahem* was that dude listening to "American Woman" while he was driving for 5 hours on repeat?
"American woman don't come hanging 'round my door, I dun wanna see your face no more" Oh, and of course you know he was laughing all of the way till he realized that he lost her.
