start Rendezvous And Snowmen Do Not Mix -- Chris || Post in the forum
line.jpg
People never cease to amaze me with their plentiful lack of common sense these days.

Take for instance this guy from Kentucky who shot himself when practicing his quick-draw on a... snowman. Yes, that's right, no one actually shot at the man, and he shot himself when taking the firearm out of the holster. Truly is sad.

A Carter County man accidentally shot himself Monday while practicing his quick-draw on a snowman, Kentucky State Police at Ashland said.

Bob Bowling, 32, of Willard, suffered a gunshot wound to his right upper thigh, according to the KSP's Ashland post.

What I want to know what did the man say to the police when they finally came.

Cowboy: *Calls police* I've been shot...
Operator: Ok sir, help is on the way. Do you know who shot you?
Cowboy: ...No... I didn't even see him coming
Operator: Ok, help is on the way.
*few minutes pass, cops arrive*
Cop: Do you know who shot you?
Cowboy: Uh... I shot myself... by accident
Cop: Why did you do that?
Cowboy: I was practicing my quick-draw on that there snowman...

I think it's safe to say that guy is not going to be able to walk through town for quite some time without being laughed at. Wouldn't you think that your pride would be hurt too much after trying to shoot a snowman and you shoot yourself, and not the snowman instead.
