start Bickering Fun! -- Chris || Post in the forum
line.jpg
I have been watching enough news about the war and Afghanistan to make any normal human being want to puke these past three days. This would be due to me only being able to use one eye, and only having one eye for sometime doesn't leave you with too many options to do. In fact, I have not updated this hunk-of-a-web site in some time now because of that. I find light to hurt somewhat. But thanks to something called "pain killers" it makes this all happen.

Anyway, you should try watching The O'Reilly Factor when your half asleep and have just taken some pain medication. It makes it about 10 times better.

Like last night I did that, and it almost didn't seem fair since the guy that he was talking to was too slow, almost retarded. I tell ya, Bill gave the other guy a pretty good whoopin'.

There was this whole issue about how the guy's daughter was having nightmares since she watched the September 11 attacks in school. Her father did not like that and is now mad at the school for it. As always, here comes some more Chris' Sweet Logic ©

As you know, news is rated TV PG. And news is real life, stuff that happens out in what I would like to call "the real world". It's pointless trying to hide your child from reality all that time, and that's more than likely why their 10-year-old daughter is horrified about what happened. Her parents never let her watch anything like that, and when mommy and daddy weren't there to protect her from life, she wasn't ready for it. What are they going to do when she gets a job and other "big girl" things? "Sorry honey, you cannot drive since you may get into an accident" You cannot hide stuff from people forever.

There's going to be an entire generation of young people that are walking around now that are crying for mommy whenever something called "life" occurs, and mommy is supposed to make it all better all the time. This then leads into how some kids go on shooting rampages in schools due to video games and poor parenting, but that's a whole other story and I don't want to go there now.
