start Can Someone Say 'Antitrust'? -- Chris || Post in the forum
line.jpg

So I'm on C|net today, and I read that MSN will not allow any other browsers besides it's own to access the site.

I didn't believe it at first, and then I went to MSN.com and saw for myself the message that they give to you if you do not have their browser;

Additionally, you'll see the most advanced functionality of MSN.com only with the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer or MSN Explorer. Um... what? Not that it affects me one eyeota, but why do they want to do that? Doesn't that hurt them more than it will help them? Think about all of the people, like me, that use Opera and don't want to use IE for some reason or another. And you used to have an email account there, and now since they did that, many people will say "the hell with it" and find some place else that will offer you email services

So, let me correct what they wrote there on the site (note that I use Windows as my OS)

I think this image will explain this the best:
