start You Have Got To Be Kidding Me... -- Chris || Post in the forum
line.jpg

Ok, before I go on, I'd like to give some props out to Neo Flux, since I actually got this material off of them (the article, not my own comments)

Here is a little something that people are fighting about in one high school

It seemed like a good idea at the time, said school administrators. Thomas, whose goal was to spice up a mundane physics project on pressure by tying it to the events of Sept. 11, said it still is.

But district officials are cautioning that the egg drop project -- dubbed "The Yolk's on Osama" -- could be construed as culturally insensitive. Now, plans for the poster have been scrapped.

Folks, they got mad because they were going to deface a picture of bin Laden. Now does that say something within itself right there? Perhaps they are supporting him by protecting his image.

I personally don't give a you-know-what about what they do or do not do to his photograph. After what he did to the people in Africa, and (we're pretty certain that he was in charge of the September 11th attacks) the attacks upon America on September 11.

Think of this, why in the first place do they care what they use? They say that it targets Muslims. No, not quite. More like it targets one person. And don't forget the company that is selling toilet paper with bin Laden's image on it. Now why don't they get mad at that? Why? Because the people that approved of it to be used actually have something call "work" to do.

Sometimes I wonder about people. They may say that they do not like what happened on September 11th, but then they do not want to let the guy's image be defaced. What is with that? The man defaced our nation, and they are worried about defacing his picture on paper... Something is wrong.
