start Bored? No Problemo -- Chris || Post in the forum
line.jpg

It's a rather slow news day today in terms of stuff other than Anthrax and raids in the mid east.

Zoo Tycoon With that out of the way, why not waste some of your bandwidth and download Zoo Tycoon? You can help by downloading it and giving it more than 2 downloads total after being featured on the main page of Download.com for almost an entire day.

Zoo Tycoon puts you in charge of your very own zoo. You'll be challenged to design, build, and manage a vibrant place where your animals and guests are happy. You have more than 40 different animals to choose from, including chimpanzees, camels, and tigers.

It's a different version of SimCity from back in the day.

CDex Moving along now. Next, we have CDex from The Source Forge. This is a little something that will rip CDs onto your hard drive in either MP3 or WAV format. I've used this to rip one CD last night and I found it rather nice to not have my system "lock up" from it like I have had happen to me with other CD ripping programs.

And lastly there is the old game of Tetrix to pass some time when doing nothing. I'm not that much of a game player myself, but this one is an exception since it's more like a "classic". Speaking of classic, I should break out the old 16-bit version of Doom and start playing once again.
