I have seen stories like this popping up all over the place now on the 'net. I seriously think these people that think they are funny are plain stupid, and need to find a life.
Quite frankly, I am getting sick and tired of turning on the news, going to any web site, or even in the newspaper and having to hear about how some stupid person with too much time on their hands had to pull a prank like that.
For the past 10 days or so, the only thing that you have heard is "Anthrax this, Anthrax that". Haven't we all gotten sick of it?
If you notice, the amount of people that have really got the virus is only around 8 or so (about). If you have actually read anything about the virus, you will know that it is no contagious. In other words, those 8 or so people would not infect other people with it. As of right now I would say that the general public is not in much danger of a brutal attack using biological weapons.
The only thing that's going to help people with real modems, yet their ISP isn't, is the addition of more real time media features that they offer to the broadband users. Time for another AOL CD in the mail within the next week or so... unless that was 7.0 that they sent me which I got rid of promptly upon arrival.
