And I received this email...why do people keep playing cruel jokes like this?
Don't know how true this is!!!!
Subject: FW: PLEASE READ - VERY IMPORTANT - THIS IS NOT FALSE IN ANY SENSE OF THE IMAGINATION
This is true - please read and listen. My friend Jill was here today and her brother works down in Princeton with a girl who had been going out with an Arab man for about a year. They had a date on 9/6/01 and he never showed up. She went to his apartment and it was emptied out. A few days later on 9/8 or 9/9, he sent her an e-mail. It said that he wished he could tell her why he left but he could not. He also told her NOT TO FLY ANY COMMERCIAL PLANES ON SEPTEMBER 11 AND NOT TO GO TO ANY MALLS ON HALLOWEEN. This is not a joke. He was living in the Princeton area. She turned this information over to the FBI after September 11. Jill is a very good friend of mine and I know her brother. He knows this girl personally - THIS IS NOT A JOKE. I don't know if anything will happen, but I don't want to take any chances. Just in case, please don't go to a mall on Halloween
The Nokia 5510, intended for the youth market, is a Web-enabled phone, MP3 player, FM radio, game console and messaging device all meshed together into one funky gadget.
However, Nokia has no plans to introduce a similar device in the United States.
Isn't that a good thing that they are not coming over to the U.S.? We've had so many problems with just cell phones that we don't need anything else that would make people take their eyes off of the road.
You go in your car for a ride around town and you see at least 10 people using a cell phone as they drive past. And then you have people that would be crossing streets while they are talking on the cell phone - not paying one bit of attention.
How much joy would it be if yet another thing was to distract the drivers? I'm waiting for them to come out with a cell phone that will also work as a remote control for your TV or anything else like that. That way you will NEVER have to get up from that chair of yours.
They want to collect 1,000,000 (one million) of the CDs and walk to the AOL headquarters in Virgina to tell them "We don't want anymore of your garbadge."
I find that a good cause. Yet I just threw mine out about a week ago. I don't know though... I see a lot of "proxy.aol.com" showing up in the stats for this site, so I don't know how many people from here would *actually* be willing to give up one of those CDs.
While I'm at it, is there a way we can some how get the dumb spammers to stop? I'm at an all time high now, about 25 a day. When will they learn that it makes me more mad than wanting to buy their stupid product?
