The War On Infogrames
Part One: Visions of Deceit
Epilogue
Drakken sat in his room, his
thoughts wandering. Someone knocked at the door, and he beckoned for the
visitor to enter. It was Captain Samrong. The Captain ran to
Drakken's table, trying to catch his breath. "Sire, Infogrames
Headquarters has... well, sir, it has IMPLODED." He waited for his
superior to vent his anger, but Samrong was astonished when Drakken simply
smiled.
"So, it seems that Black16 has chosen
the path of death. Good. I knew it would turn out this way."
He picked up the glass of blue liquid sitting on his table and took a swig.
His face convulsed as though he drank a glass of vinegar. "If you
don't mind me asking, sire," Samrong said timidly, "What is that
strange liquid you always drink?" Drakken laughed heartily as he
wiped his mouth. Then his face grew serious. "It is not a
popular drink, I assure you. Care to have a taste... of Kaiju Blood?"
Drakken offered the glass to his
subordinate, but Samrong looked away in disgust. "Sire, isn't the
blood of a kaiju extremely poisonous?!" Drakken stared long and hard
into his glass. "Perhaps to a human, it may be. But not to
me." He got up and went to his window. The moon was shining
bright. Drakken changed the subject. "Has Gates been notified
that the Agency is headed for his organization?" "No, not yet.
Shall I tell him personally?" Samrong asked. Drakken continued to
stare out his window, with his arms behind his back. "No, I think
not. In fact, make sure that you keep this little secret between us.
You may leave." Samrong saluted Drakken and closed the door behind
him.
The man in red looked up at the moon.
"For countless millennia I have waited for this moment. At the time
of the Total Eclipse, my plan will come to fruition, and this pathetic dimension
will belong to me! Not even that rogue Black16 can stand in my way!
MWAHAHAHAHAHA!"
