The War On Infogrames
Part One: Visions of Deceit

Chapter One

New York City.  That same night, a phone rang in an apartment building.  A young man woke up from his sound sleep, and answered the phone.  "Hello?" he asked, sleepily.  The voice on the other line was gruff.  "Hello, Agent Zero One.  I've got an urgent assignment for you."

The young man shouted at the voice.  "You know, Anonymous Benefactor, it's two in the morning here in NYC!  This couldn't wait until daybreak?!"

The voice simply laughed casually.  "I'm afraid this mission cannot wait any further.  This isn't simply another Kaiju ARena battle.  You're needed immediately.  Our 'contact' overseas has reported that some strange things are taking place on the island of Infogramia, a few miles South of the Hawaiian Islands."

Agent Zero One sat up immediately.  'What are you talking about?  Kirby Fong and Infogrames, the company that made Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee for the Nintendo Gamecube, own that island!  What could have gone wrong?"

"I am unsure of all the details.  Why don't you try talking to a miniscule apparition of a moth god sometime?  By the way, I've also notified Agents Zero Two, Zero Three, and Zero Four.  They're headed to Honolulu as we speak.  I suggest you pack lightly.  You won't be staying very long."

Zero One sighed.  "Agreed, A. B., but could you do me one favor?"  The voice answered him.  "Sure.  What is it?" 

'Stop calling me Zero One.  I hate that name.  Why don't you just call me by my codename?"

"Agreed. Your flight leaves in three hours, Agent Zero One........I mean Gojira64."

Gojira64 hung up the phone.  "This is gonna be one of those days."
