Based on the long-running Phantasy Star series which premiered on the Sega Master System, Phantasy Star Online blends science-fiction technology with a little old-world magic. Inhabitants of a distant galaxy are forced to abandon their home worlds after being on the brink of destruction. Their explorations uncover the peaceful Planet Ragol and colonization begins with the first interstellar transport ship, the Pioneer 1. Years later, as the second transport of intergalactic refugees enters orbit with Ragol, an explosion erupts from the planet surface and all contact with the men and women of Pioneer 1 is lost. You have been enlisted in the Hunters Guild to help uncover the mystery of your missing comrades.
