Craig Cloke is booked. Matt Carruthers blazes a free-kick
over the bar and Kingstonian miss a good chance from close
range. Still very tight game, with both defences doing well. |

Kingstonian 0 Dover Athletic 0 - Half-Time
Shaun Welford was booked just before half-time for
handbags with Lance Key, the Kingstonian goalkeeper. Dover
fans are blaming Key because he reacted to a challenge by
Matt Carruthers.
Tommy's H/T Summary: "Kingstonian have played
well, better than most other teams we've played so far.
Dover are defending strongly though and keeping them at bay,
without offering too much in terms of attack." |
|

Shane Hamshare is booked for a
bad foul. |
|

James Farrier is booked for a
foul. Kingstonian are having the better of the play but
Dover are looking organised and strong in defence. A couple
of free-kicks for Kingstonian look dangerous but amount to
nothing, though one flashes across the six yard box. |
|

Dover are lining up in a
4-5-1 formation. Farrier and Humphrey are full backs, with
Scarborough and Readings in central defence. Hamshare -
Cloke - Hickman - Rogers is the midfield line-up. Welford is
the centre forward and Matt Carruthers is playing in the
hole, as an attacking midfielder. |
|
15 |
Both sides have several
corners early on but chances are few and far between. Tom
Hickman has a deflected shot go wide but the referee gives a
goal kick - typical! |
