Added a solution for not having to delete option file but having
translated player names.
· Added a tutorial for people who burned the game but it didn't work.
· Found a bug. The game hangs if you try to edit a player of Chile team.
· Corrected the explanation of how to apply the patch, the program is Applyppf3 and not Applyppf (what an stupid error x_X)
Here
is the patch. It's a beta, as I said. I really don't wanted to
release it before it's 100%, but when I said that I was doing a
patch, most people wanted to have it, telling me that for a price
of a cd they can burn one or more betas without problem.
Then I decided to release it, but I wanted to correct some
problems I have with some phrases, so the release delayed a
little. It's nothing to blame me for I think, I'm doing it for
free and begging nothing to anyone.
But yes, you want the patch and not to read boring things, so let's go with it:

HOW TO APPLY THE PATCH?????
Uncompress patch and program on the same folder where you've the ISO of the game.
Then type: Applyppf3 a yourisoname.bin we6beta1.ppf
(the best way to do it is going to a DOS BOX but... do what do you want :P)
That
will apply the patch, then you burn it and play :) BUT
some
people have burned the game and it didn't worked for them.
Here's a solution that someone (credits to derivas) posted on
gamefaqs.
The problem is caused by the cd-recorder, usually old, and has
nothing to do with the iso, the patch, the cdr, the program
you use to record cd's or your dog.
First:
DOWNLOAD THE PROGRAM ECCREGEN: HERE
You have to download this program, and do the following:
You have
the iso patched and are ready to record, but your old cd-recorder
will not regenerate the sectors
of the patched iso as new ones do when it will burn it. That's
the reason why the game does not work.
So, if the cd-recorder will not do it, ECCREGEN will do it!
You uncompress the program and start it. Then you open your iso BIN file with that program and select scan. Once you did it, select all sectors and push Regenerate. Now you're ready to burn it, and I wish it works now :)
ABOUT THE PATCH
The patch is, I think, about the 60% of the game, more or less. I prefer to wait but people tell me to release it. So...
What does it translate?
Most Menus, except for the master league (it's hard, believe me o_O).
Almost all training mode and challenge training.
Almost all edit mode.
Almost all League & Cup mode related things.
All team names and almost all player names (90%, missing secret presents ones and 2 or 3 more).
Option settings, button configurations, etc.
In game menus and options.
2% of Help menus (the less useful ones...)
What does it NOT translate then?
Master
League related things in general. Some menus were translated,
others not. I'm not so stupid to think that training is more
important than Master League, simply
Master League is a lot harder to translate.
Formation
menu is not translated....but is subbed! What does it mean?
Formation menu
is really hard to translate because technical problems, but I
tried to make navigation on these menus
easier. These menus, in japanese, have explanations below. I put
the name of the menus on the
explanations instead of translating them. This is a temporally
solution so navigation on these menus is possible.
Try it yourself to understand how it goes better.
98% of Help menus.
Most Memory Card menus.
Jon Kabira is not dubbed... because who wants it to be dubbed? It's superb!!! ^_^
PROBLEMS
If you changed some team or player names but others not, in the memory card the others were saved with japanese names. So it's not that my patch has not them translated, is that you option file data has them saved in japanese. Playing without a memory card you can see what is totally translated, and if you translated all of them on your own, no problem :)
I FOUND A GOOD SOLUTION FOR THAT NOW :)
For
Players, go to edit mode, edit player, select a team and press
Default (triangle). Do it in each team (it's fast, believe me)
and you'll have reset all player names :) You can reset one
player concretely if you want too.
I haven't found the best solution for club team names yet but I'm
working on it, so don't delete your data innecesary! :)
CAN I HELP WITH THE PATCH?
Now that I released a beta of the patch, if you try it and found an error like:
BAD english, BAD player name/s or anything else
