Saving Passwords & Logins Tute

To save your logins & passwords & general information used in forms
using Windows 98 SE follow these instructions---
Left click on "START" in the bottom left corner of your screen.
Move the cursor up to "SETTINGS".
A window will slide out.
Left click on "CONTROL PANEL".
Right click on "INTERNET OPTIONS" & left click on "OPEN".
This will appear after you left click on the "CONTENT" button in the "INTERNET PROPERTIES" window that opens.
In the "Personal information" box left click on "AutoComplete".
This will appear.
Under "AutoComplete Settings" check all four boxes and click on "OK".
Now,left click on the "Advanced" button & this will appear.
Now go to a page & type in your login & password & click on "SUBMIT" or whatever
& this will appear.
Left click on "Yes" & your login & password will be remembered by Windows.
Note --- If you don't type in your password Windows will NOT remember your login.
Now --- If you use a form where you add your age-birthday-address-zip code-whatever Windows will remember it for you.
To get the remembered information to appear in a tiny dropdown menu below the textbox in question just double left click on the EMPTY textbox & your options will appear.
Move the cursor over the one you want & left click on it & it will appear in the textbox.
With logins like the Angelfire example when you double left click on the login box your password will automatically be added in its' textbox.
This is why after you hit "SUBMIT" after you type in your login & password you prompt Windows to remember your PASSWORD!!!
You MUST type in your login AND password & hit submit to get Windows to remember your login & password.
This is a special case.User information like age & zip code & stuff will be remembered automatically.
This will not work with your Yahoo Email password or probably any other Email password.
Passwords & login combinations are security sensitive.
If you want to delete unwanted logins & passwords & other information from the tiny dropdown menus that appear below the textboxes after you double left click on them, a quick way to do it is to place the cursor on the item in question to highlight it & hit the "DELETE" key on your keyboard - which is located right above your four arrow keys to the left of the numeric keys with the "Num Lock" key in the top left corner.
If you do, this or something similar will appear.
Left click on "Yes".
It will be gone...
