Petals of chaos
Mood:  happy
I was sitting in my car today waiting to drop my girlfriend off at work. She was listening to her music and doing a little dance. But I was busy watching something else. I was watching the flower petals blow down the parking lot, watching them dodge tires and chase cars that flew past. They moved along with wind currents, following almost organic paths as they snaked between obstacles. I started to wonder what effect I would have as I drove through the lot, would I disrupt their flow? Would I break a large current and ruin something beautiful?

Then I thought it didn't matter, the petals would fall where they were going to. What momentous effect could my one car possibly have? But what if it does matter? What if these seemingly small events have an aggregate effect far greater than we can predict? Chaos theory says these things, but I'm talking about something else. Does breaking wind currents and altering the flow of these petals have an impact beyond my imagination or does it simply not matter?
