We as staff have been there, we've done that, and we went back and did it some more. We wont lie to you and say that your time here will be carefree, we also wont lie to you and say we've never broken the rules on other servers. We want to make your gaming here an enjoyable experience, just as you want your experience here to be enjoyable. If you follow these rules, everyone will get along in a manner befitting an RPvP server. Of course some of you will make enemies, it happens, but dont break the rules just because someone pisses you off. We as staff will take action against rule breakers without mercy, care, and sometimes without a second thought. Don't break these rules, the very fabric of enjoyable gaming experiences depends on it. We as staff also agree that we will do anything in our power to make you happy, whether it be through events (quests, tournaments, etc.) or through enforcing rules to keep you from leaving. We respect our players, but if you as a player cross the line and break a rule, you will be punished if caught. You will see the phrase "if caught" alot in the rules, dont take that lightly, YOU WILL BE CAUGHT! Every staff member on this server was hand-selected from the most experienced and loyal veteran players. We know that we aren't always right, we understand that, but even still, what we say...goes, period.
Player Rules:
1- ABSOLUTELY NO bug abuse, if caught the punishment will vary on the severity of the bug.
1a- turning in bug abusers/bugs gets you rewarded.
2- Do not disrespect staff, they work VERY hard to make the server a good place for you to play.
3- Res Killing is illegal, but KNOW THIS...its only illegal IF they kill you 3 times in a row.
(and that means 3 times IMMEDIATELY after resing *a total of 4 kills*)
4- Racism WILL NOT BE TOLERATED, it is illegal anywhere in the US and is just the same here. Dont do
this.(If it is a repeated offence we will log and track your IP and report the offence to the
needed law enforcement agencies. Dont think you are immune, it is illegal ANYWHERE in the US,
even the internet.)
4a- Use of any items to write racial slurs, or to make racist symbols (example - swastika) will
be handled the same way as rule 4.
5- Use of the status screen to locate and kill players is ILLEGAL, this may be a RPvP server, but
nobody enjoys being tracked down at their homes or while they are trying to gain skill.
6- Raging PK is discouraged, its not illegal but most people that play here know others that play
here, this is an old server and there are MANY veteran players here.
7- House looting is LEGAL, just as long as you do not use bugs to gain access to someones house.
8- AFK macroing is NOT ALLOWED, dont do it, you will be jailed for 24 hours of ONLINE time and will
be disconnected...*new* if caught, all skills being afk macroed will be lowered to 0.0.(if you
respond within a minute of a staff member talking to you, you're in the clear, after that, same
rules apply)
9- Harassing other players IS illegal, no excuses.
10- Using the spell "earthquake" to kill a person whos in their house while you're outside is
COMPLETELY ILLEGAL, if caught you will recieve swift and hard punishment. (char nuking is a
possibility)
11- This is an RP and PvP server, USE PROPER LANGUAGE! We will jail and stone anyone for the use of
any words such as "noob" "newb" "own" "joo" "roxxorz" "suxorz" "fuxorz" etc...this so-called
"leet speak" is very annoying, dont do it.
11a- From time to time we all curse, but please, keep it to a minimum. (we as staff would
definately appreciate that)
12- PvP magery consists of 5-6 different spells used in one session of combat, if we see anyone
spamming ONE or TWO spells constantly in combat, they will be jailed and all their magery
supplies removed (including the skill).
13- There are certain guilds that there can be only one of, before placing a guildstone and setting
the pretences of the guild, ask a staff member if there is already one of that type of guild and
if there is, if you can make a second one like it.
14- IF your account is banned, dont be an asshole, dont spam the server with accounts and
characters, hardly anyone gets IP banned, just make a new account and start over, if you have
friends on the server, we cant stop them from giving you some of their stuff to start anew.
(spamming the server with accounts and characters will get your IP banned, and if you dont have
a static IP and you abuse that fact, we will contact your ISP and get you blocked from the
internet for harassment, trust me, you dont want to test this fact)
15- ABSOLUTELY no using pets to PvP...complaints will be taken WITHOUT proof, you will be jailed
(this includes releasing pets to "do it on their own")
16- No littering...please...it causes lag. We have reward barrels, a bloody bandage MAY not be worth
many points, but...it will add up.
17- Begging is considered harassment, you start with 10k, dont beg for money, you have enough to
start yourself off.
18- Multiple accounts *special* - UNLESS you have been given permission (example- you only have one
comp on a static ip and both you and a sibling play) YOU cannot make another account other than
your first. (FIRST offence is BAN and Deletion of that character)
Ignorance to these rules IS NOT an excuse, keep up to date on the rules, they are generally updated on a weekly basis.
Tourney Rules:
1- Different tournaments have different rules, depending on the staff member. FOLLOW THEM.
2- If you die in a tournament, you will be ressed and sent to the supply room, if you wish to watch
you must pay the set fee for that arena to view the rest of the fighting.
3- ALL tournaments cost gold...if you do not have the gold, special arrangements CAN (im not saying
that they will) be made.
4- Follow player rules while in a tournament. Don't spam FS, we set the cast rate fast but if too
much abuse and rule breaking is made we will slow down the casting rate.
5- In most cases there is no loot in tournaments. Don't do it unless the staff member holding the
tournament says you are allowed.
Quest Rules:
1- FOLLOW GM INSTRUCTIONS
2- Most of our quests are NON-PVP...unless otherwise stated do not kill ANY other player.
3- Most quests also require you to come naked, which means NOTHING in your pack or on your body.
4- If another player is killed for any reason in a quest, do not loot them.
Staff Rules:
1- NO TWEAKING PLAYERS - no ifs, ands, or buts...you will lose privelages permanently.
1a- No, you are not allowed a player account, if caught, you will lose your staff account and
the banks of the players on the player account and their packs and their houses will all be
nuked. (you HAVE been warned)
1b- If you were a player that was selected because of your ability to help other players and your
willingness to do so, and you become staff, you WILL lose your player account, this is
only to prevent corruption.
2- NO replacing stats/skills/items unless you have prior authorization from an admin/owner.
3- Respect the players, if they disrespect you, jail them.
3a- If they continue to harass you (spamming, name calling, etc.) stone them.
3b- As some players do, if they make another account and start yellin there, notify an
Admin/Owner immediately, if one isnt available USE YOUR BEST JUDGEMENT.
4- Using .kill is almost never needed, Owner Oberon checks logs on a daily/weekly basis, this is at
random, or when a player complains of abuse. Do not use it unless absolutely needed.
5- The ONLY time you are allowed to look through a players bank/pack/house(s), is if you have
authorization from an Admin/Owner. (meaning they MUST be under investigation)
5a- Even if they invite you into their home, you are not allowed to look through things.
Its just plain common sense people c'mon...
6- In regards to player rule #13 keep up to date on who runs what guilds and what the guild function
is...if you dont know, dont ask other staff, INTERACTION with players is always a good thing.
Just like players, your ignorance to these rules does not excuse you from your actions, keep up to date on these rules.
GM House Decoration:
It is currently very expensive until further notice, so be sure only to ask WHEN you have ALOT of money.
STAT/SKILL Transfer:
We are currently allowing skill transfer ONLY, you must have screenshots of your skills from another server to get them transfered. and if you have all GM skills you will only recieve only a certain preordained ammount (dont complain if we dont give you the ones you want, it was our choice to allow skill transfer so if we get complainers and whiners, we wont offer it anymore). ANY staff member can do this but they MUST show the screenshots to an Admin/Owner before setting the skills for verification. (the ONLY in the first line means STAT transfer isnt allowed)
**Items/Gold is also not allowed, dont ask for it.
