THE
RANKS AND THEIR DESCRIPTIONS
There are 6 ranks in the clan. Each
rank has it's own characteristics, rights and power. Here's a list of the
ranks with their descriptions.

General: A general is either a clan
founder or VERY distinguished clan leader. As of right now, there are only
founders, but in the far future, there may be more generals.

Tribune: The Tribune is for members
who have shown strong leadership, a good track record and devotion to the
clan. They are the closest thing to a general.

Centurion: Centurions are minor leaders
in the clan and also have a good track record, but are not quite as distinguished
as the Tribune.

Legatus: This rank is reserved for members
that have been with us for a while and/or are pretty active in playing
for the clan.

Legionnaire: The rank of legionnaire
is for members who don't really participate in the "politics" of the clan
but do play for the clan. Often, people moving from the Citizen rank to
Legionnaire are kept here for a while until they've proven themself.

Citizen: This is a provisional membership
rank reserved for new members. It is possible that these members be removed
for not meeting what the clan expects from that member. Don't forget, this
is a PROVISIONAL membership, and longtime membership is not a guaranteed
if you're a citizen. This is just a temporary rank, however, as people
are moved from Citizen to Legionnaire after about a week or 2.
THE
VOTING SYSTEM AND HOW IT WORKS
The voting system for the clan is
very complex in that it has many details. Each rank gets a set # of voting
points that makes the higher ranks have more power. For example, a general
has 9 votes and a legionnaire has 2 votes, so if a general voted yes to
something and 4 legionnaires voted no, then the answer to the vote would
be yes. Anwyayz, here's a full list of the ranks and their voting points:

DIFFERENT VOTES AND HOW THEY'RE
CARRIED THROUGH
Throughout the time of the clan
we will be voting on certain issues such as new members, rank promotions,
kicking members and demotions. Each type of vote has it's own little system.
The main types of votes we have a set way of voting for, and here's the
list of those:

New Members: New members is sort of
like voting for promoting a non-member to member (or Citizen, for that
matter). Legatus and above can start votes for a new member to join, as
long as there is room in the clan and that member wanting to join is a
friend. Everyone in the clan may vote for a new member except citizen's.
This vote is to be private, but the results will be made public.

Promotions: In order for a member to
be promoted, a member that is 2 ranks higher or above must propose the
vote. Anyone one rank higher or less may not start votes to promote. Also,
only people 2 ranks above or higher may vote for the promotion.

Demotions: The tribune and the generals
vote on demotions. This is a secret vote.

Member Removals: Only the tribune and
the generals may vote to remove members from the clan. This vote will be
a secret vote because making the vote public may injure any relations between
the member being removed and specific people.
The generals may vote to overturn ANY
vote, however, to do this it requires a unanimous general decision (all
the generals must have the same vote). |
