1987- Legend of Zelda is released for Nintendo.
1988- The sequel to Legend of Zelda, Zelda II: Adventure of Link is released.
1992- Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is released for SNES and gives a new definition to 16-bit gaming.
1993- Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening is released for the Game Boy and is the first portable Zelda game.
1998- Nintendo releases the first 3d Zelda game Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time changing the face of 3d gaming forever; Link's Awakening is released in its colorful version for Game Boy Color.
2000- A sequel to Ocarina of Time is released featuring kid Link and various masks. Also a new land and characters.
2001- Two new Zelda adventures are released for the GBC called Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons which allows you to link to another friend with the Link Cable. Also has Link's Awakening graphics and new features. Both stories are connected to each other.
2002- A Game Boy Advance version of A Link to the Past is released and contains a multiplayer game called Four Swords.
2003- Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest is released and can only be received upon the preorder of Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker which is released as well.
