Can't Have Too Much Art

            Heh heh - it seemed to be about time for a new sketchbook page...  ^.^;;;

         Me Own Junk

I haven't been drawing much of late, so at the moment this is just some more windows and a few anime wallpapers I made ages ago.

Ocean Window   My friend Chiiru-chan wants a pair of French doors with this pattern…  I have to admit, I'm pretty fond of it, too.

Sakura Window   Agh - it doesn't look like a sakura tree, it looks like evil Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer…  ;.;  I drew this for my
friend Kotori-chan, but it looks so terrible!  Wah!

Reflected Window   This one's actually a really abstract window; it's one of my all-time favorites, even though Chiiru-chan claims it
looks like a bunch of leeches.  (I think this says more about Chiiru-chan than it does about me.)

Tsuzuki Wallpaper   A lovely wallpaper of Asato Tsuzuki-kun from Yami no Matsuei (a series that has doujinshi even though you
wouldn't think they were necessary); lyrics are from the opening, "Eden" by a group called To Destination.

Rei-sama Wallpaper   The best of my three Rei-sama (Evangelion) wallpapers; lyrics are from "Absolutely (Story of a Girl)" by - um -
whoever it was that did that song.  (I'm thinking Nine Days, but I could be wrong.)

Lain Wallpaper   A freaky little wallpaper of Lain from Serial Experiments Lain; the lyrics are from Natalie Imbruglia's "Smoke," a
song inextricably linked with Lain in my mind ever since I saw the fantastic music video by Aluminum Studios.

Vash-kun Wallpaper   Pretty…  Lyrics are from "Sound Life," an actual Trigun song, which despite being sung by a woman is an
intrinsically Vash-y song.  Don't ask me, I just think these things…

Cyanide and Skids! (Awwwww...)   A little bit of fanart for the fantastic webcomic Boy Meets Boy, for two guys that are going to
end up together or... or... or there's going to be some serious mayhem, I promise you that!  Interesting side note:  I probably shouldn't
have drawn this pic while I was sitting around bored out of my skull in church…  ^.^

Brothers, Take 1   This is NOT - I repeat, NOT - the official copy of this picture.  It's only the first try.  It went perfectly, right
up until the Prismacolors began to make the India ink run…  ;.;  Fortunately I managed to salvage the picture using a light box, and the
actual final picture is the very next link; I only put up this picture to illustrate the mistakes even a regularly practicing artist can make:
    1.  Misjudging heights (a mistake I fixed in the final version).  2.  Not letting the ink dry for long enough, or not testing properly to
make sure the ink wouldn't run at all (clearly visible in this version).  3.  Being a dumba** and not remembering to scan in the pencil
sketch before inking or scan in the inked sketch before coloring.
Okay, I actually put it up because my friend Chiiru-chan said it looked fine, and even when she's obviously dead wrong I don't
like to argue with her, so here's the stupid pic.  I'm warning you, the final version is the good one.

Brothers, Take 2   The final version.  Now I'll actually tell you about the pic...  ^-^;;;  It's of Josh from Genki Goth and his
older brother Jonathan, when they were about ten and twelve respectively.  And those scratches are not hair, as Chiiru-chan mistakenly
thought - they're - um - well, they're scratches/bruises.  *runs and hides*  I reiterate:  God, I'm a sick freak.  Still - it turned out VERY
well, and if you don't like it, then I'll say it again - you're just a mean, embittered person who doesn't like me.  =p  I can't claim total
credit for this picture's success, though - notice how good the hands are?  That's because Matt-san drew one, and I drew the other while
looking off the one he drew, so kudos to Matt-san!  ^-^;;;  One day I'll be good enough to draw my own hands… one day…

Brothers, Take 2 (Pencil)   Pencil sketch of above, just to prove that I'm not always an idiot.

Alison and Shal!   Wai!  Super-kawaii pic of Alison and Shalohim from Genki Goth!  Alison looks kind of funny, but Shal's as
    adorable as ever...  ^-^

Kyo-san's Birthday Present   ^-^v  A present for Kyo-san, the vocalist for a J-Rock band called Dir en grey.  I adore him, but he
really needs to lay down for a while or something... that boy is DISTURBED.

Kaoru-san's Birthday Present   Wai!  This present's for Kaoru, Dir en grey's lead guitarist!  *glomps Kaoru*  He's totally spiffy!
He even likes some anime and manga - how cool is that?  ^-^

One-Winged Shiko   A pretty decent pic of Shiko - yes, the one wing is deliberate, so is the fact that the wing is white.  It's not just
    because I'm lazy, honest...  ^.^

Val-sama Wallpaper   I made this wallpaper all by myself.  It's purty.  It's also 1024x768 resolution, unlike my earlier wallpapers that
    were 800x600.  I'm uploading several wallpapers this time, because I've really been slacking off on the drawing lately...  n_n;;;

Lost Innocence   I wanted to make a wallpaper using a picture I drew myself, but Brothers was really the only one good enough...  This
    is not a happy wallpaper.

Kaze wa Mirai ni Fuku   A pretty-pretty Trigun wallpaper.  I especially like the shades of blue I managed to find.

Darkness   Look and see.  That's all I'll say about this one.  And look carefully.

Heart's World   The quotes on this wallpaper are from a sonnet I wrote while thinking about the End of Evangelion movie.  Rei and
    Kaworu-themed, Light knows why.

After the Fall   Well... the shading on the wings is a bit off, and my attempts at correcting them didn't work too well, but otherwise...
WORSHIP MY SHIBBY SHALOHIM-DRAWING SKILLS!  MWAHAHAHAHA!!  God, I love drawing him.

Little Shal Sketch   Not all that great, but still pretty kawaii; currently doing time as my LiveJournal image, though I might put up
    a different one soon.

Mukuchi na Ai   If I could claim full credit for this picture, I would die a happy artist.  As it is, Matt Mezynski-san helped by fixing a
whole lot of little things, but I still drew the original pic and did the inking and the coloring and he didn't touch the face other than the hair, so I
guess I can still at least call it my picture.  Anyway, it's Richi from Hidden Faces, and he's - er - nekkie.  In a bondage mask.  Heh - heh - heh...
The title of this pic comes from "Yokan," one of Dir en grey's non-evil-screaming-vomity-demonic songs, and it means - well, it's kind of
difficult to translate, but literally it would be something like "non-mouth love" or "mouthless love"; if you want to get more poetic about it
(which I do), you might say "unspoken love."  Yeah... anyway... just go worship Richi's beautiful vulnerability, kay?  Can't do that too much.

Tetsuya   I - drew a picture of Tetsuya from "Shattered Glass" and Open Circle…  O.O  God, it feels weird to say that.  It's not the best
picture of Tetsuya possible, but it doesn't exactly suck either, and - I just feel weird.

My Very Own Mecha   Actually, this was a joint effort (Matt Mezynski drew it and I only colored), but I'm putting it up here anyway
because I feel like it.  Mwahahaha.  It's cool, it's shibby, it's spiffy - look at it!  And then curse at my scanner some more for not acknowleding
the existence of silver metallics.  *growlsnarlhiss*

         Other People's Pretty Stuff

Wai!  Even more beautiful art by Kotori-chan!

Shalohim   Her own interpretation of Shal… maybe not dead-on, but a good pic nonetheless.

Death   A gorgeous picture of Death from The Sandman.  The wings are fantastic.

Femme-y Schu-Schu   A picture of Schuldig looking rather girlier than usual...  ^.^  BTW, if anyone reading this page happens to be Brad
Crawford, this pic's for you.  Me, I just don't know how anyone draws folds in clothes, especially that many folds...  ;.;  Want - be able - draw
    better…

         Hush   Don't say a word…

Van and Hitomi   Super-spiffy pic of Van-sama and Hitomi from Escaflowne.

         Kaoru-kun and Rei-sama   Wai!  Pretty-kawaii!  I love Kaoru-kun, and of course I worship Rei-sama…

Rei-sama   A very good picture of Rei-sama, not like there's any other kind as far as I'm concerned.

Josh   *hides her face in her hands*  Oh, God, I'm evil - and I didn't even draw this pic, it's Kotori-chan's…  But it's all my fault!  Poor
    Josh-kun!  *glomps him*
Josh:  o!.!o  What the HELL are you doing?!
Hokuto:  WAH!!  IT'S ALL MY FAULT I'M SO SOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRY!!
            Josh:  ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
