Sketchbook, Page 2

Wai!  I finally managed to get around to gathering more wonderful art(as well as drawing a bit more of my own stuff), and here it is for
your viewing enjoyment!  ^-^v  My stuff is first, of course, because it's MY SITE and if you guys want YOUR stuff to come first, then get off
your lazy butts and make your own site.  =p  Just kidding.

         My Art

First off, we'll start with the Genki Goth character designs I drew at camp for my final project (which are actually all that I've drawn
lately, seeing as how I'm a lazy bum).  The Japanese behind each person is their profile/biography; for a translation, just email me at
hokutochan@hotmail.com with fulsome praise for the pic in question and a request for the English version.  Okay, so the fulsome praise isn't a
REQUIREMENT, but it sure would be nice to get email at that address which ISN'T porno ads.  *sweatdrops*  Anyway, on to the pics!

Alison   Wai!  A color pic that *I* drew which doesn't completely SUCK!  ^-^v  I can color!  Wai wai!  Anyway, this is probably the best
pic out of the five - I dunno, she just turned out really well…

Shiko   This one's in black-and-white, and also kind of small.  Yes, this IS a girl - she's Genki Goth from the previous page of art...
*breaks down crying*  WHY CAN'T ANYONE TELL SHE'S A GIRL?!

Shalohim   Another black-and-white pic, but MUCH better.  I love this pic to pieces…  Of course, I love this character, too, which helps,
but also the pic just turned out really well.  The hands and the shoulders were the most difficult part…  (Hey, if you haven't tried drawing two
shoulder lines the same length, you have no room to whine.)

San   Anouuuuuu...  ^-^;;;  This one's kind of - interesting.  Yeah.  In a - J-Rock sort of way...  VERY interesting.  This is the only other
color pic, but it's not quite as nice as Alison's because I only had one color for all the skin tones and I kind of overdid it...  ^-^;;;  But trust me,
skintones AREN'T what you'll notice first about this pic.

Josh   Also - interesting.  In pretty much the same way as above.  ^-^;;;  This wasn't even really supposed to BE Josh at first, he was
supposed to be just a random manwhore (don't ask), but it kind of - turned into him as I drew.  The actual Josh from the story would never be
caught dead in that kind of outfit - his view on it is that "Bondage is for wimps.  If they knew what it was REALLY like, they'd all go and
become fucking monks or something."  ^-^;;;  Those are his exact words, don't give me that look.

Ken in a Bag, Part 3   Why part 3, you ask?  Because there are two "Ken in a Bag" cartoons prior to this one, one by Misaki-Midori and
another by me.  However, Ken-kun has them because we drew them for her, so I can't scan them in.  ^-^  They're cute, though.  This one is a
special birthday present for Ken-kun because she has to work the whole day…  Ganbatte, Ken-kun!  Otanjoubi omedetou gozaimasu!  *waves
around signs borrowed from Ryuujin and hastily repainted to say "We love you Ken-kun!"*

Shiko Again   I was never very happy with Shiko's bio pic - I just didn't spend much time on her, and it really showed.  So I drew this
pic to make up for it, and it turned out COOL.  ^-^v  I credit my beautiful Prismacolor markers, which allow even a total coloring failure like
me to turn out halfway decent stuff.

Shalohim the Page   Yes, I have been reading up on the Third Crusade - why do you ask?  ^-^;;;  He looks so cuuuuuuuuuute with flaxen
hair, though!  *thinks*  If Chiiru-chan and I ever do some real side-stories for Genki Goth(Josh doesn't really count as a side-story, he's a sub-
plot), maybe we'll do one during the Third Crusade.  I think it would be cool…

Kallahandra   Wai wai!  I finally got around to drawing Kal!  I was going to make her part of my Final Project at camp, but I just didn't
have the time…  But now, here she is, another triumph of the Prismacolors!  ^-^  (Of course, her armor still looks pretty funny, but all I can
is YOU try it without a decent model and see how YOUR plate armor turns out.)

San the Knight   I would like to say that this pic of San is better than the other one, but I would be lying.  Okay, so at least it's not as
DISTURBING as the first one, but I don't think that it's really a much better pic, artwise.  Oh, and that blue on his chain mail is SUPPOSED
to be silver - I don't know WHY it scanned in blue…  *muttermutter*

Shalohim Praying   Okay, I KNOW that I draw Shal a lot.  It's not MY fault he's got such an easy face to draw, and I've had this idea
for his angelic clothes for ages now…  This pic isn't as nice as his other two in quality, but at least his face looks nice, and he's actually smiling
    for a change.

Sailor Bob!   This pic technically belongs on my Open Circle page (https://www.angelfire.com/anime3/opencircle/, go there NOW), but I
wanted to put it here, too, in case it didn't meet Chiiru-chan's approval for a Sailor Bob pic.  Anyway, it's totemo kawaii and you should look at
    it!

Val-sama Sketch   This is my first real attempt at fanart, and it turned out pretty well, I think.  It's actually part of a larger picture that's
Val-sama and Hokuto from TB (long story, which might be up somewhere on the net someday), but Matt-san looked at it and suggested I scan in
just Valgaav before I got too busy with the rest of the pic - and ya know, when I thought about it, it was a pretty good idea.  So, have a look!

Valgaav and Hokuto   And here's the full pencil sketch!  Now, I rarely praise my own art, simply because I know so many people whose
work makes mine look like it was drawn by a five-year-old, but for this one pic I have to say:  PH33R MY M4D DR4W1NG SK1|_|_Z!  (Or,
in non-Largo-speak, "CHECK OUT MY SUPER-SPIFFY AWESOME PIC *NOW*!")  Yeah - anyway - it's way cool.  I've got this pic inked
now, and as soon as I can get the necessary Prismacolors, I'll color it, too, because that'll just be even spiffier…  Okay, okay, I'll shut up about
    my awesome pic now.

           Valgaav and Hokuto(Color)   See note above re M4D DR4W1NG SK1|_|_Z, only replace "DR4W1NG" with "C0|_0R1NG."  Damn, I'm
    good.

         Other People's Art

There were a LOT of really good artists at camp, and I'm only sorry that I was unable to mooch more of their work off them...  ;.;  But
as soon as I get off my lazy butt, I have a TON of really good pics from Hien to scan in, and I'll try and add those before school starts.

Alison Again   A very lovely pencil sketch of Alison by my friend Kotori-chan (Tamar Groveman).  God, I love her art...  I also have a
color pic of Alison she drew a while ago that I'll hopefully post soon.  BTW, the Japanese on that sign reads, "Anata ga Daisuki," which means
"I love you" or "I really like you," but in this case most likely means the former.

Bribe Pic   This is the pic I brought back from camp specifically to keep my friend Chelsea from killing me for the interesting pic of San.
Well, she DOES roleplay him, so I had a feeling she wouldn't be too happy…  Anyway, I'm still here, so I guess the pic worked.  It was
supposed to be San, but it doesn't look a lot like him - not that that matters…  *drools*  GOOD pic, drawn by Hikari whose real name I forget
but she's really good anyway and should be drawing her own manga.

Chibi-Me!   ^-^  This doesn't really look a LOT like me, but I love it anyway just because it's so CUTE!  *goes into spasms of
"awwwww"ing*  It was drawn by one of the two-week campers named Misao - I never did learn her real name...  Well, Misao, wherever you
are, thanks again for the pic!  I love it!

Chibi Spike and Vicious   If you don't look at ANY other pics on this site, you HAVE to look at this one!  The cuteness factor is just
beyond words, even for me!  This was a semi-collaboration between Misaki-Midori and myself - she drew the actual pic, because she's a good
artist, and I colored it.  And it's so cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute!  The Spike and Vicious in question are from the series Cowboy Bebop - so yes, it's
THAT Vicious.  CHIBI!  MWAHAHAHAHAHA!  ^-^V  I said you had to look at it.

Ansatsu no Me   A beautiful pencil sketch of Kenshin from the series Rurouni Kenshin, also by Kotori-chan.  The title means "Eyes of
Assasination," which is very appropriate if you think about Kenshin.

Kero and Supi 1   Yes, this is Kero and Supi from Card Captor Sakura - as humans!  And they're adorable!  Yet another wonderful bit
of Misaki-Midori art to treasure - in watercolors, no less!  We must all bow and worship the person who can succesfully paint watercolors!
    *bows*

*notices that no one else is bowing*  I'm not feeling respect here!  Come on, guys!

Kero and Supi 2   Again it's Kero and Supi from CCS as humans, but this time drawn by Ken-kun/Kozue/Mollie Dezern.  Isn't it
beautiful?  It's in watercolors, too.  Ken-kun insisted that it was bad, but considering it was her first time with watercolors…  Besides, the only
thing I'd criticize is that Supi's boots are HUGE.

Yutaka Sketches   Two lovely little headshots of Watari Yutaka from Yami no Matsuei, done in ink…  More of Ken-kun's sugoi art.

And, saving the best for last(at least, it's the last for now):

Schu-Schu Sketch   WAI!  It's Schu-Schu(Schuldig) from Weiss Kreuz!  I don't know why, but I've just been absolutely CRAZY about
him lately… blame "Dysfunctional."  Anyway, this is a really cool pencil profile of Schu-Schu, done by Ken-kun in about FIVE MINUTES.
    ;.;  Jealous… so… jealous…

And now - sadly - Schu-Schu's not last anymore…  Yes, I got some more art!  ^-^v

Chibi-Nikkou!   A totemo kawaii chibi-pic of one of Ken-kun's characters!  I wuv Nikkou, he's SO adorable - and so of course Ken-kun
was AWFUL to him in her manga…  ;.;  (Oh, well, at least he didn't STAY dead.)  Anyway, this was going to be the back cover of the manga,
but Ken-kun ended up using another pic instead, so I got to keep this one.  Dieudes - I got love…  ^-^

Heroine Sketch   An ink sketch by Hien-san, a most wonderful artist.  I have a lot more of her artwork lying around, but hey, I DO have
school at the moment, so don't expect more any time soon.  This one's plenty good enough to give you an idea of her style, though.

Alison in Color   Wai!  Pretty Kotori-chan spiffyness!  I've had this pic for ages, but I forget to put it up…  This is a really beautiful
color pic of Alison from Genki Goth; the gold Japanese in the background is the song from the CLAMP manga Clover, which you ought to go
and buy because it's got the neatest layouts you've ever seen (oh, not to mention the usual fantastic CLAMP art and depressing but good story).

Subaru and Arashi   Another beautiful (if rather non-canonical) pic from Kotori-chan, this one of Subaru Sumeragi and Arashi Kishuu
from X.  Gods, I wish I could draw that well…
