Long Awaited Vacation 12:42:17 a.m.
Finally! I get to start preparing for my vacation to the Bahamas, I'm hoping to have a blast. I'm going to try and update this site for the next few days to make sure that everyone doesn't kill me for non-updated links. I try to change the site around a little bit and make it better. I won't be leaving till August 7th. I'll be returning on the 14th so on the 14th or 15th look for a big update to the site, and maybe even a FRESH NEW LOOK! If I do change the site, it's just to make it easier on everyone else, and of course the looks of the pages are to priority. .

Best MCM2 Tracks 3:45:32 p.m.
Our good old buddy... AMA_King has posted up a web page of tracks that he thinks are some of the BEST so far. This is not intended to be an exhaustive list of the best tracks. I saw his post at the message board:
Click here to read the message and/or post your own favorite tracks!
King’s purpose is to do MORE RACING and LESS TRACK NEGOTIATING... Sounds good to us! He just wanted a quick reference page for his friends to check and see if we have the same tracks. I think you guys/gals will like it as well!
This should make racing in the ZONE more FUN! AMA_King’s Best MCM2 Track Picks

PC Gamer's Review. Final Verdict of 87% 12:15:23 a.m.
Well another magazine has created their own review for Motocross Madness 2. Personally I've been waiting for this one for a long time. Though I'm kinda dissapointed in the results.
PC Gamer gives the game its highs in that has incredible graphics and animation; varied gameplay and environments; and robust online plays. The lows are inconsistent handling; no gameplay; and no track editor as promised. If you're reading this I'm sure that you already know that Microsoft did release a track editor, so I'm pretty sure that PC Gamer might alter their final verdict if they didn't publish their issue so early. The bottom line of PC Gamer's review says "With considerable eye candy, depth, and replayability, expect this madness to last.. They gave the game a rating of an 87% overall. I'm a little dissapointed with the 87%, but I value these guys opinions. Even though I do wish the track editor came out before this review was published.

Verified Riders 4:18:41 p.m.
Since Rainbow Studios and Microsoft have not yet decided to make a patch for Motocross Madness 2, so people can tell what CC someone is riding. Game players have created their own utilities. MXProsecutor has made a program that verifies which riders are on 250cc bikes. The program works great and you can download it at their website. X-Times is also working on a utility for their X-Times program. They should have this available for download soon. Microsoft and Rainbow Studios is creating something called "FreeStyle". Which is in Beta Testing. This will make a Stunt Type Competition which eliminates cheating.

Plugin For Armadillo Displacement Map 6:06:14 p.m.
Full Throttle has created a great new tool for veteran & beginner track designers. This tool called the "Cut-N-Paste Kit" contains pre-made jumps, berms, tabletops, and whoops that you can cut and paste onto an image for a displacement map. This tool gives everyone the ability to rapidly prototype terrain while at the same time, you still have complete freedom to modify and customize it exactly how you like. A big thanks goes out to Mr_Happy_BK for creating this awesome tool. Download The Cut N Paste Kit.
Rob Rinard has created a 20 min. tutorial type video to help beginners with the Armadillo Track Editor. The file is 20 mb, and can only be watched with Windows Media Player. You can download the video at Rainbow Studios ftp Site.

Bug Update 11:57:44 a.m.
I've finally gotten confirmation that the bug is real, even though the Motocross Madness 2 creators said that the "Throttle Bug" would be fixed in Motocross Madness 2. All X-Times Tournaments and Zone Tournaments have been postponed until we get word if Rainbow Studios is going to fix the bug or not. For information check out Motocross Madness 2 Central.

MCM2 Bug Found! 11:30:54 p.m.
A major bug is said to be in Motocross Madness 2. I can't confirm this at this time, but it is said to be the "Throttle Bug". Something that all you Motocross Madness 1 players may remember. I received this information, but I can't quit believe it's true just yet, since several sources of Motocross Madness 2 Creaters had said before the game was released that The "Throttle Bug" would be taken care of in Motocross Madness 2. If this is true that the "Throttle Bug" does exist then all X-Times and tournament races won't be fair or have accurate times. I've also heard that Motocross Madness 2 has no plans of fixing this problem. Full-Throttle has created a discussion board for this topic. You can view the discussion board Here. Give me a few days to conform this news, and I'll have another post with my results.

Motocross Madness 2 features an upgraded physics engine that allows independent rider and biker motion, variable surface friction (slick ice, gravel, mud) and a range of bike handling and performance options. We've also added incredible new graphics for eye-popping terrain (4 times as large as the terrain in the original) populated with 3-D objects and a variety of vehicles and characters. Throw in licensed motorcycles, gear, and a create-your-own custom rider and bike feature -- and you've got one BOSS racing experience.
