Spray Primer (Black or White)
Acrylic Paint
Used to paint your miniature, this is the paint that ( I assume ) you will be using.
Get a selection in the colors that you plan to use.
Brushes
Used to apply the acrylic paints to your miniatures (known as painting
duh
)
you need a fine detail brush, and 2 larger brushes. Hmm, ask the hobby store clerks for
what sizes you need.
Clear Spray Coat
Used to protect your finished paint job from being rubbed off or chipping or otherwise
being damaged. The strongest is a gloss coat, generally a satin or matte coat looks best.
Craft Knife (in the USA its often referred to as an X-Acto [brand name])
Use the craft knife for cutting parts off the miniature sprue, trimming/smoothing mold
lines and flash, trimming vent threads or imperfections on the miniatures (plastic or
metal) i.e. generally cutting things.
"Also useful for slicing your hand/fingers open"
Cup for water
Used to clean your brushes during and after painting.
"Also good for spilling all over your work area."
CyanoAcrylic glue (CA glue; aka. Super glue)
Used for gluing metal multi-part miniatures together, gluing them to their bases, gluing
plastic parts to metal and/or gluing plastic parts to other plastic parts.
"Can be used to glue parts of your body together, bonds instantly! What fun!"
PVA glue aka. Craft glue or White glue
Good for gluing ballast or flocking to the miniatures base
"Also good for childrens crafts"
