The Ancient Indian were the second WAB army that I collected and painted. These guys fought at the first WAB tournament held at Cold Wars (1999).
Indian Spearmen (Old Glory) this is an excellent pack, it comes with a pretty good Leader figure and 2 different musicians. As you can see I converted one of the leader figures (the bag comes with 2) to make the battle standard bearer. Next to him is the regular leader, I gave him a different shield because he’s the commander.
Essex Ancient Indian Spearmen models. These are pretty good, the detail is a little better than the Old Glory versions. The shields are modeled on the figure and the shields are a bit wider than the Old Glory buggy boards. I gave these guys thicker spears (made of plastic) because their hands were bigger.
