Based upon/from: Mercedes Lackey and Larry Dixon's "Born to Run" and "Chrome Circle"
His Earth comes from the Mercedes Lackey books with contemporary elves, and he is a young mage who works for the Sidhe enclave of Fairgrove, and it’s leader Keighven Silverhair. This particular enclave is building a race-car company to help raise money that can then be spent on orphans, helping the needy, etc.
Tannim is one of their best racers, add to that he’s also a very powerful mage, quite intelligent, and a good samaritan for hard-luck cases. For friends he’ll go to the ends of the Earth, or even beyond to the Unformed Regions, though he can be a little stubborn, especially when it comes to a fight that he might be too tired for - the magic tends to go a bit wild the more tired he gets - but he’d stay anyway if he thought there was any way to help.
Generally, his clothing consists of faded black jeans, sneakers, t-shirt, and a third-hand Battlestar Galactica fatigue jacket. His normal drink is a Gatorade, though wine and others can replace it from time to time - along with a Cherry Pop from the fatigue jacket’s inner pocket.
So far on his short visits to the tavern, he’s met and befriended one person, and tried to help her. Currently he’s on vacation after a rather nasty run-in with the Unseleigh and it’s resulting mess.
