From the manager.....
Date:26 January 2000

Myself and a dedicated team on teh staff here at Corby Town are determined to evaluate the club back to the forefront of non-league football in England which a town of Corby's size and importance should have. My task is to produce a team capable of pushing for honours but to do that there needs to be a greater emphasis placed on the commercial side of the club to create the revenue to strengthen the team.
One ambition of mine and others within the club is to see Corby Town return to a stadium in the centre of the town which I firmly believe would serve the club and the community better than the present location at Rockingham. Any supporters or businesses that share my view on this subject and are prepared to support such a move can contact me on tel. 0116 2223882 or fax 0116 222 3883.
I strongly believe that if the club could re-locate back into the centre of town it would bring the supporters back and would be the beginning of a new, successful era for the club.
On the team front we are delighted with the form of our young players who are going to be the nucleus of our team for a number of years. It is a policy of mine to attract the best young players to the club who can develop into an outstanding team over the next 12 months.
With the support of the local community exciting times are ahead for The Steelmen and a move back into the town would be the icing on the cake.
