Sea Chest / Shadow Box
I received a very large sea chest at my retirement ceremony. It is a combination shadow box and sea chest. The shadow box portion is in the lid and the rest of the box holds a few of my old uniforms, certificates, scrapbook, and whatever else I want to store. It cost around $200.00 and was custom made for me by a guy in Silverdale, WA.

Congrats! This chest is the best idea I've seen so far. Both my husband and I are retiring this year and I would love to have a Sea chest like this. Do you think you could share some info on how we can get one made too?
