VARIOUS MUTATIONS IN PIGEONS:
SHOW PIGEON PICTURES by Frank Mosca
Mutations from wild-type which are I've listed are only those already named. While there are obviously some mutations from wild-type in both form and shape in the Strasser, there has been little work on such stuff, and almost nothing is known of their inheritance or even of their existance.

Saxon Monk - yellow
Mutations from wild-type which are
immediately visible in bird:
Baldhead (monk-marked); Toy stencil;
muffed; Ash-red; bronze; dilute

Strasser - blue barless
Genetic mutants immediately visible in bird::
barless; gazzi marked;

Franconian Shield
Genetic mutants immediately visible in bird::
barless; "shield-marked" (in apostrophes because it may
be an allele of some other piebald pattern. Testing is still being done.)

GERMAN BEAK-CRESTED TRUMPETER (I think)
Ash-red, Baldhead (monk-marked); muff; rose (beak-crest)
