USA Team

The National A' team comprises of U.S. swimmers who rank in the top eight in their event(s) in the F.I.N.A. World Rankings as of Sept. 2, 1999.

There are 6 swimmers who made the USA Swimming 1999-2000 National A' Team in three events and they are all well known names in the swimming world:Chad Carvin, Tom Wilkens, Lindsay Benko, Brooke Bennett, Diana Muntz and Jenny Thompson.

The Olympic Trials is the most pressure-packed swimming competition in the United States. From Aug. 9-16,in Indianapolis,two swimmers from each event will be selected to compete individually in Sydney this September.
