Dreams To Reality
While dreaming one night,
you came like a whisper in the mist..
You took my hand,
gave me a kiss.
You took me to your world of enchantment,
never did I know how special this world would be,
or how flattered I was the invitation was to me.
I was in the middle of utopia,
with the world at my feet,
but all that mattered was that you were with me.
You took me to a waterfall that was blue as the sky,
and showed me your heaven one piece at a time.
Flourishing like a flower, I grew in your hand,
I experienced a peace I never knew in this land.
But I should've seen the signs,
that it all was just a wish.
Cause just like a dream, I awakened amiss..
But if I could bring my dreams to reality,
I would dream this dream daily.
A Shadow To You
Standing outside, looking in,
I often feel unwelcomed and like a stranger in your life.
You barely recognize me,
and make me feel so small.
I guess I'm a shadow,
on those walls of your heart.
You used to be something,
I wanted so very much,
but now you have become the one thing I will never touch.
And reality hard as it is to face,
shows me day in and day out that this is my place.
So as the tears fall down and I walk away,
know that I loved you for that my heart has portrayed.
And when you look for me to be there,
you will see this shadow has disappeared into thin air.
Lost
Days grow tired,
and the nights too long,
and I am so very weak.
Where I used to find my strength no longer exists,
I walk alone and afraid,
into darkness not defined by space.
I reach out for the light,
but I feel it slip through my grasp..
I yearn to find the me,
that held onto happiness so fast..
I feel that my soul has been replaced,
by a dark empty canyon,
and my voice just an echo,
in the walls of my head.
I wonder does anyone hear me,
but I think I am lost.
Ill Be Here
Never thought I could love someone enough,
to be willing to let them go pursue their own happiness,
able to sacrifice my own, till I met you.
Did not think I could let someone tear down the walls,
I had built up for so long until you came in,
and changed my thoughts around.
So I suppose that is why,
I hurt more than I ever thought I could,
or ever knew I would.
Even now when I know you are hurting,
all I want to do is be the one you run to for comfort.
But you hold me away,
Im not sure if it is pain or regret for your reasoning.
All I can do is hope someday you realize that I am there,
and will be..
Although I know I am not the harbor,
you are seeking from the storm.
Take care my love, my friend,
know where I am from now to the end.
The Way It Is..
Amazing how we can be so blind,
to the things we do not choose to see.
As was I blind to your deception,
you were blind to the love from me.
You choose to walk alone,
solitude your weapon of choice.
Dare not to receive my comfort,
take no healing from my voice.
You want to be a shadow,
there but not for all to see,
dont you even understand,
you were always a diamond to me?
I can not help you look into your heart to find the answers,
you so desperately seek.
You are carrying the pain all alone,
for you making this your burden to speak.
My desire is to reach out to you,
for this no touch is required,
although now this is not even an option.
You have shut me out of your world,
and left me out in the cold,
battered and scarred my heart.
Neither one of us sure what the future holds.
Turn your thoughts away from the pain,
just for one miniature moment,
to hear me say..
Nothing is forgotten but forgiveness is my way.

From the moment I met you,
you had my heart.
When I saw your face,
I knew I had forever.
When you gave me your love,
you gave me the world.
If I was to leave this earth tomorrow,
I could say I had heaven..
because with you I need no more.
When you touch me,
you touch my soul.
You hold my heart,
in the palm of your hand.
You mean more to me,
than all the riches in the world,
cause to me you are more precious than gold.
Im forever in your debt for loving me,
by loving me you have made me a better person.
Without you Im a fraction of the person that I am with you.
With all my gratitude and soul,
thank you for loving me.
