"Yes?" she asked looked around for the voice's origin.
"Danger is coming." said the voice. "A great power is coming and will destroy all if you do not beware."
Allysa's eyes widened and she looked around as the scene around her changed to one of a battle feild with strange creatures laying on the ground.
"Where am I?" asked Allysa in allarm, her red hair flying back behind her as a wind blew up.
"You are in your future." said a voice.
"Are you Sailor Pluto?" asked Allysa in surprise.
"No." said the voice. "I'm her cousin. She allows me to travel every so often through time with her and this is what I've seen. I am conveying it to you since it shall be you to make the first stand against the Negaverse."
"How!" exclaimed Allysa. "The people of the Milky Way have never tresspassed into thier land. Why would they wish to destroy us?"
"Chaos has returned in a new form." said the voice. "And it has grown stronger then before."
"But I thought Chaos was destroyed by the greatest scout." said Allysa.
"It was defeated, but not destroyed. Now it has stired up evil in the universe. The Negaverse is coming Gaurdian of Xenda. Warn the other scouts before it is too late."
The scene reverted to the gardens in Allysa's dream and she saw a darkened figure standing the shadows.
"Please," she said holding out a pleading hand to the figure. "Who are you?"
"I am the Gaurdian of Space." said the figure. "We will meet again." "But..." started Allysa.
Allysa opened her eyes as the dimmer light of the stars and distant sun peeped into her room. Sliding out of her warm covers she quikckly place her rob over her body in attemp to get warm. Everything was deathly silent and she noticed that her servent had never come in to light her fire.
"It's a wonder I haven't frozen." she murmered as she walked over and quickly got a good blaze going.
Then she sat down before it and closed her eyes, focasing her mind.
"Allysa," said a voice in surprise.
Allysa turned her head and saw her older cousin walk into the room.
"Good morning Larana." said Allysa pleasently. "When did you return?"
"A few hours ago." said Larana. "I have just completed a scouting trip."
"What did you find out?" asked Allysa, interested.
"Something has stirred up the Galaxies." said Laran gravely. "I have found that many of my friends are gone. They went and fought a great power and then dissappeared."
"Chaos." murmered Allysa, as a chill ran up her spine. "Larana, I had a dream about a large battle and a mysterious scout who said she was the Gaurdian of Space."
"Charon." said Larana. "She is the Gaurdian of all that is in Space, just as he cousin is the Gaurdian of time."
"Well, she came to me and warned me of the Negaverse and of Chaos."
"Do not mention that name." said Larana suddenly her eyes growing cold.
"Why?" asked Allysa, surprised at the harshness of Larana's voice.
Larana got a far off look in her eyes, "Many eons ago the Sailor Scouts warred against eachother. Then Choas appeared and they tried to defeat it, but it was too stronge. No one could defeat it. Then Sailor Galaxia, the strongest Scout that ever lived appeared and after a battle, destroyed it."
"But Charon said that Chaos survived." said Larana. "And if you, the strongest Scout currently, cannot defeat it, then who can?"
Larana's eyes softened, "Don't fret. I am stronger than I was. Galaxia may have failed, but I will not."
"What of the Negaverse?" asked Allysa. "Charon spoke of it too."
"The Negaverse has been restless. I have seen them building up thier forces. I have warned the Queen that something is happening, but she is certain that they will honor our peace. But with Choas once again around, things could change." said Larana as she sat down by the fire and warmed her hands. "Don't you ever tire of this cold moon?"
"It's no worse than the palace on Xanthia." said Allysa. "And I prefer the more open areas."
Suddenly the fire began to blaze brighter and both looked at it in surprise. Then outside people began to scream and wail.
"What's going on!" exclaimed Allysa as she and her cousin jumped up and ran to the window.
Looking down they saw a band of monsters, like the ones in Allysa's dreams, walking into the courtyard with a general leading them.
In full royal dress, Allysa went to her throne room with Larana, now Sailor Cosmos, and sat down on her throne.
"Welcome to my court." said Allysa politely as the general dipped to one knee in respect.
"Princess of Xenda, current ruler of Xanthia, I bring greeting from my Queen, Beryll." said the general standing.
Allysa nodded and waved to him to show she was listening.
"The Queen wished to be given audiance with Queen Serenity." said the man.
"Why come to me?" asked Allysa. "I don't bar the way into her realm. I am merely the gatekeeper that watches those who come in peace."
"Then we are free to continue onwards?" asked the General.
Allysa saw a flash in her mind of the battles and looked the general in the eye, "Before I answer, I must know why you have increased your armies along our border."
The man's eyes flashed, "That is why my Queen wishes to speak to Queen Serenity."
Allysa pondered this a moment and shook her head, "I will allow Beryll entrance as long as she takes only ten with her. An army is uncalled for."
The general's eyes darkened as he nodded and then turned to leave.
"Oh, and one more thing." said Allysa.
The man turned.
"If she does try to bring her army with her, tell her that I will not allow her through. Only I controll the gate."
"You sound as if you expect a war," said the general, his eyes filled with anger, and yet a little respect.
"General." said Allysa. "Although I am young, I am a ruler and not naive. Please mind that I do have power."
The general's eyes flashed, "Be warned Princess Allysa, if we attack, you will lose your kingdom."
"And you will lose your entrence into my Queen's lands." said Allysa harshly. "I am tired of your games. You may leave."
The man grudgingly bowed and then he and the creatures trooped out of the room.
"Larana, there are times that I envy your position as a Sailor Scout." said Alysa as she slumped in her seat after dismissing her many gaurds.
"Allysa, my life is no easier then your's is. What you did showed your wisdom as a ruler, something I could not do. Hold fast to your comitments and you will suceed."
Allysa nodded and then smiled as her cousin began to rub her back.
"You have no idea of how I needed that." said Allysa. "These thrones are not made for backs."
Cosmos laughed and they began to talk about preparations.
"What!" screamed a red haired woman in rage. "She dares to challenge me."
The minions in her thron room looked at eachother in worry.
"Nuoto!" she called.
There was a flash and the general appeared, "Queen Beryll."
"I want you to bring me Princess Allysa." she said to her nephew. "Do it in any way, but I want her before me."
Nuoto nodded and vanished.
"Now, Mayal!" shouted Beryll.
The second geral stood forward that had brought the message and bowed, "Yes my Queen."
"I want you to break the gate." she said.
The man nodded and vanished. Beryll looked at the others in the room and frowned.
"Why are you all here." she demanded, "I want those armies in thier peakest shape before we move into war!"
They nodded mutely and dissappeared a couple at a time till she was left allone.
"Queen Serenity's Kingdom will be mine. Just as all of her precious gaurdians and subjects."
Allysa, now in a simple gown, stood out in her garden. She had let her red hair out of the two pony-tails and it's long strangs fluttered about her in the cool wind. Suddenly she felt a new presence and turned to see a man with dark eyes, floating towards her.
"Who are you!" she demanded, stepping back slightlly.
The man smirked, "A servent of the Negaverse."
"Have you come with Beryll's response?" asked Allysa, keeping her distance.
The man looked at her, stuck by her odd beauty and her calm.
"Actually." he said. "She wants to speak with you."
"She is waiting in the throne room?" asked Allysa, suspicion already in her.
"In her's." said the Nuoto with a sneer.
Allysa opened her mouth and started to shout out for her gaurds but Nuoto was quicker and had raised his hand. A bolt of energy rushed out
"I'm sorry, but my queen want you." he said as he leaned over and carressed her cheek with his hand.
Alyssa back away, still holding her waste as the pain continued. Then her forehead began to glow and a stick with the image of her planet appeared in her hand.
"I'm a Gaurdian!" she thought in surprise.
Nuoto looked at the symbol on the girl's head in surprise and then reached down to take hold of her earnestly.
"Xenda, Star Power, Make up!" shouted Allysa suddenly.
There was a dark light that appeared, similar to a black hole, and it obsorbed Allysa's body. Inside, faint images could be seen as black ribbons brown and orange ribbons wrapped about Allysa's body and slowly formed a Gaurdian's uniform worn always worn by the Sailor Scouts.
Then after a final flash, the black light was gone and she appeared from out of it standing fully erect.
"You've gone to far Nega-Sleeze." said Xenda, pointing a gloved hand at him. "Trying to kidnap me was an act of war. Tell your Queen that if she tries anything else, I'll attack her with all of my forces."
The man growled, "You tell her."
He lunged for her, but she dodged with a spectacual leap and landed a few feet away from him.
"I see you need some encouragement to leave." she said in a harsh voice.
"World Workings!" she shouted as she lifted her hand.
The ground split open and vines from below shot up and grabbed Nuoto. He screamed as the vines began to leave burning sensations through his skin. Another figure appeared and raised her hands.
The vines were cut away and both saw a female in general's cloths.
"You having trouble Nuoto?" asked the woman with an evil gleam in her eye.
"None of your business Morphia." said Nuoto angrilly.
Xenda raised a single hand towards the generals while they talked and smirked.
"Supreeme Darkness." she shouted.
The generals turned and looked at Xenda in surprise and then opened thier mouths to speak. Then they looked shocked, when no sound came. Suddenly there was the sound of a bang and darkness surrounded both.
Xenda watched the darkness fall in a sphere over the two and waited. A moment later it was gone and the female general lay dead and Nuoto was on his knees, badly wounded. Crawling over to his companion he weekly pulled her into his arms and looked with hatred at Xenda before vanishing.
Xenda turned to find a silvery scout running towards her.
"Alyssa?" asked Cosmos in surprise when she realized who the scout was.
Xenda grinned, "Yep. Isn't this suit nice?"
Comsos grinned and became serious, "The gate was destroyed!"
Xenda's face grew alarmed, "When?"
"The Negaverse destroyed it and are preparing to enter Queen Serentity's realm!" said Cosmos.
"I'll hold them." said Xenda. "Go to Pluto and warn them."
Cosmos nodded and dissappeared in a flash of white light.
Xenda stood arrect upon the ruins of the gate, her hair once more placed in two pig-tails behind her head blowing straight back in the cosmic winds. She could see the armies of the Negaverse aproaching and her heart beat fast.
"Are you ready men!" she called looking down to her warriors.
The cheered and then she signaled silence.
"I know I have not been what you've all expected. But when my parents died so suddenly two years ago, leaving me you're ruler, I took a vow to protect you. Although I'm young, and female, I will stand by you. The Negaverse will stop here!"
The crowds of men cheered and then fell silent as the creatures began to charge forward.
"Attack!" shouted Xenda pointing her figer towards the enemy approaching.
The crowds shouted out and then converged with the sounds of clashing and choas.
The next day Allysa stood, leaning on a broken post for support. Tears brimmed her eyes and she surveyed the ruins that had haunted her dreams. More the half of the people of her planets were taken and she'd even seen a few changed into the mindless creatures called Youma.
"I'll be avenged!" she screamed in pain as she looked out into space. "I swear it. If not by me, then by another!"
"I'd like to see that happen." said a voice.
She turned and saw Nuoto, "My Queen still wishes to see you."
"No." said Alyssa, her eyes stinging from the smoke and unshed tears.
"You've been defeated." said Nuoto in a sympathetic voice. "And I am here to either bring you and kill you and I would rather not kill you."
Alyssa quickly wipe away the tears, her stature returning.
"Why do you care." she asked, her eyes showing suspicion.
"When we met in the garden the first time I was sent after you," said Nuoto. "I was struct by your lovely and calm face. I want you."
Alyssa's face flushed in surprise, as he took her hand suddenly.
"Come peacefully and she may allow you to join her and you and I could be together."
Alyssa's face became one of saddness and she shook her head, "No. I cannot come with you. I could not fight against the Queen I have sworn to protect. I will fight Queen Beryll till my last breath and win back my people inslaved into those creatures."
Nuoto's eyes hardened and suddenly placed a palm against her forehead. Allysa felt a sharpness force it's way into her consciousness and everything went dark.
Allysa's eyes slowly opened and she found herself in a large room, laying in a strange black box in her best gown.
"Welcome Princess Allysa." said a voice.
Allysa tried to sit up, but found herself strapped down, "Who's there?"
Suddenly a red haird woman appeared above her and she gasped.
"I am glad that General Nuoto was able to convince you to join me. You will enjoy being on the victorious side."
"No." said Allysa as she struggled. "I will not be a part of this."
"But you already are." said Beryll laughing evilly. "The fact that my minions are alread nearing Pluto will show that you've fallen. Why not make them say that you joined me instead. You won't have to face there jeers at failing to stop me at your gate."
"They're not naive Beryll. They'll find out that your holding me.."
"But I'm not." said Beryll, a strange smile on her face. "In fact, you and Nuoto will lead my army through Pluto and Neptune."
"Never!" exclaimed Alyssa.
Suddenly there was a pain in her head and she winced.
"That's right." encouraged the Queen. "Be angry. You see, the longer you're in my box, the more evil you'll become. Right now you're becoming angry and bitter. Soon, you'll begin to think in our ways."
Alyssa shoot her head in dissbelief and the Queen began to laugh.
"Hurry!" exclaimed Cosmos as she clung to Solaris. "I feel Allysa. She's loosing herself to them."
Solaris nodded and her golden board sped fast through space, leaving a train of shining light like the tail of a comet. They passed into the Negaverse's realm and soon reached Beryll's palace without detection.
"Let's go." said Solaris, her blue eyes scanning the dark corridors.
The walked quickly, and quietly, both nervous, but allert.
"NO!" screamed a voice in pain.
"Allysa!" exclaimed Cosmos starting forward.
Solaris stopped her and pulled her into a shadowed doorframe as a door opened and a General walked out with non other then Queen Beryll.
"You did well." said Beryll, "If you weren't my nephew I woudn't have given her to you. So don't question my methods of transfering her into our culture."
"But she's in pain." said the general sounding worried.
"I don't care." said Beryll. "She's lucky I didn't have her killed."
They watched as Beryll and her nephew strode off and then crept into the room. Comsos ran forward quickly and looked into a see-through box holding Alyssa. When the red haired girl saw her, her eyes were filled with tears and she struggled in vain against the cords holding her down.
Solaris held Cosmos back a pointed her finger as it it were a gun at the lock.
"Solar Flare Spitfire!" she whispered and a flame of white/yellow fire shot out of her finger tip and burt the lock of of the case.
Cosmos threw open the case and unhooked the cords. Allysa threw her arms around her cousin as tears streamed down her face.
"I failed." she whimpered.
Solaris hushed her as she heard footsteps approuching.
"Let's go!" she said hurriedly.
All three stood and ran to a window just as the door opened and three gaurds appeared. Immeadiately the two scouts and princess were seen and the alarm was give.
"Comet Board!" shouted Solaris.
A golden light appeared and she stepped onto it followed by Cosmos. Alyssa transformed into her gaurdian form and joined them a split second later and they burst away from the palace.
