and then we feel
the first rustlings
of a summer zephyr
as the Angels
begin to sing.

Thus do we stay
to listen to the hymns
or do turn away
to take on another
random day?

The words of an Angel
given from Father above
to give us advice we seek
when awakening today.

Why do we not listen
when we are spoken
to in such a simple
way as this?

Why do we forget

deliver messages
like this?

that of an Angel
awakening to see
