Verse 1

New beginnings our to reach
for every week we can seek
to go out and now to teach
and at this new week peak.

Verse 2

Mondays have an awful bad rap
only because they always follow
a Sunday when we were allowed a nap
yet with Monday there is tomorrow.

Verse 3

So look to Monday with gratitude
for without a tomorrow from above
we would all be bowing in solicitude
to the one who gave His son with love.
