Do we really understand
the blessings of the
ones who are here
but not really;
oh they have bodies
and minds we cannot
fathom or sometimes
reach into to understand;
but oh they are special.
Verse 2

These are the leaders
the Generals, the chosen
in the battles fought before
we came to earth with Satan;
and he knows them now
but Father has protected them
beyond his ability to tempt
or even beguile.
Verse 3

So special are these spirits
with bodies now for us
as mere mortals to raise
and love so tenderly;
it is beyond our prayers
to understand not the cost
but the privilege we have
to have been chosen
worthy to raise such children
within the walls of our home.
