Verse 1
********
In the exercise of agency
which is we can make choices
to do right or wrong
it is this fine point
that Satan argues
you can do either,
and still maintain agency.
|
Verse 2
********
Thus man in his seeking
the pleasures or greed's
of our society have abused
this right of agency
based on Satan's definition
and not the Word of God.
|
Verse 3
********
To chose wrong is to forfeit
your right to future choices;
while at the same time
exercising unrighteous dominion
over others whom you have greater
strength or even intelligence,
it is to misuse and abuse.
|
Verse 4
********
Therefore each day in the news
we hear of murders and rapes;
some so common place
that they seem no longer
to cause fear, but just relief
it was not us or someone
we knew or loved.
|
Verse 5
********
This is when one has
unrighteous dominion;
to be able to humiliate
a nation into the acceptance
that wrong is okay,
and the legal system
protects the abuser
and not the abused.
|
Verse 6
********
The exercise of agency
is not as the world
would believe in you can
do anything you want;
oh you can,
but not without accountability
to someone, someday
and sometime.
|
Verse 7
********
Great tears of grief
are shed in the shadows
of homes each night
when alone or with family;
someone is reminded
of how they were abused
but the word of the day
was silence child,
or it was your own fault.
|
Verse 8
********
This grief is carried
as a weight of stones
up a hill each day;
much as in WWII
American POW's
were made to do,
day after day
until the war ended
or their life ended,
which ever came first.
|
Verse 9
********
Thus we have women
with honor and grace
who carry this burden;
of the unrighteous agency
by another who stole in part
or in whole their virtue,
yet are walking free today
as the pillars of our nation,
our states, our cities,
our town, our villages,
our neighborhoods,
or on our streets.
|
Verse 10
********
What agency is left
to one who would steal
from another what
Heavenly Father holds sacred?
