"A Beginning"

Verse 1
********

Spring does not understand
it is not the only season
with its turbulent
streams and torrents
where the youth are tossed
upon the waves and rocks;
for within the seasons of life
none are without their trials
and additional prices to pay.

 Verse 2
********

Thus it is only a beginning
we see in the Springtime
for in each season there
is much we need to learn;
then to share or not with others
for it is wisdom for the young
or the older to share not hide
within the walls of their hearts.

Verse 3

So when the rains come
and the winds blow hurricane
remember it is not just in Spring
it is throughout ones life;
therefore the key to exaltation
is to be able to endure to the end
and not just the Springtime
thinking we've done all
when it is only a beginning.
